I'm toying with a holy group if for not other reason than to make the guild name <Holy Rollers>. I think leveling wouldn't be too terrible. Smite should work well enough on singles and there is the eventual possibility of holy nova for AoE damage. I'd just like to try it out in the bg's, tossing renew x4 on some decked out warrior and watching him go mad.

My initial plan on the Disc Priest group, was for change of pace AV runs.
Stay well back of the actual combats, either Defense or Offense.
    And play support.

Prayer of Mending x5 into the melee.
    Shield and Renew.
    Penance from range.
    Pain Suppression on round robin.

Basically keep the battleground force up.

Circle of healing + reflective shield spec is what I'm heading for at 80. Key talents are Circle of healing, blessed resilience, body and soul, reflective shield, soul warding, imp mana burn, and surge of light for instant smites after holy nova crits.

I have my priests at lvl 16 now.

They are by far the worst team I have had. Decked with 3 heirlooms (supposed imba gear for their level) they run oom after dotting 2 or 3 people, not to mention that the dots cannot kill shit in most of the cases.
Revew is ridiculous even at that low level. The flag carrier gets twoshoted even when he has 5 revews on him, and this cannot go better with the extra burst everyone gains with levels.

Round robin AoE fear is a joke because even at level 16 all these undead just wotf it... that could only go worse at higher levels with fear immune warriors, skillcloak rogues, big red pet hunters and tremor totems.

On the other side, my warlocks are like juggernauts of death and destruction. Everything that comes in less than 30 yards dies from dots. I just run around instadoting everyone and tossing all the pets on the other team healers. This can only go better when going deeper into demonology and affliction. Unmatched mobility and really good dps.
Also my mages seem to perform fairly well and with the next patch change to their elemental being permanent + mirror image I can only imagine a big "KEK" from everyone that comes near them... like they do already with my locks. In fact I am starting to think about my mages team as ice warlocks.

I wouldn't judge the viability of a class comp or even think about giving them a review at level 16. Why would you do that?

I've run several priests at low levels and at lvl 16 the highest DPS possible with them is going Disc spec with 5 points in Wands. They can use a Greater Wand at that level and turn up the DPS 25%. Then use their mana on shields and heals. They don't have much burst. Renew can't heal thru player burst damage. Offensive they are not.

A lot of classes suck at lower levels.
At certain points, they're over powered in relation to others.
Eventually, we reach 80th, with relative balance.

Each class has some strengths and some weaknesses.
As a boxer, we can magnify each drastically.
Something is balanced with 1x every 8 seconds or 2 minutes.
But when we can do 4x or 5x, it might not be.

I'd think broadcasting Mass Dispel x4 or x5 would be pretty devastating.
Similarly x4/x5 Mana Burn on a caster would really suck for the recipient.
At 80th, especially with the Glyph and talent support, Renew is a very strong HoT, even if it sucks at 16th.

    /facepalm

    go away.

At lvl 63 these priests are tearing up stuff faster than most groups at this level I have had, save for maybe my DKs.
