Thanks for all the view points.

Like I said im not the most experiences wow player. My highest lvl toon is a mage on 69 which have done some quests in Northrend. Also this toon haven't done any instances in outland so im totally new to those. I have run through "most" of the quest in outland so I know my way around, but as you can see I still got alot of stuff to see and experience.

No boosting for me, I want to explore the instances and get my ass wooped..... Normally ill read up on the instances im headed into so I know what not to do, but its always an adrenaline rush to head into the unexplored

And no, I don't use RAF and im a rather casual player actually, which is why this site is a true treasurerchest of goodies and knowledge.
Can your group run instances? Tank, healer? If so hit outlands, because no matter how far behind you fall for doing the quests early as a boxer group, you can make it up in the instances. If not than do both east and west plaguelands, winterspring, and silithus. A lot of people are still unaware that the experience gained in these areas have been boosted to be almost on par with hellfire.

Also, with the release of Burning Crusade, they lowered the amount of experience required per level from 1st to 60th by 30%.

And with the release of Wrath, they did the same thing for levels 61-70.

Most of the quests in Hellfire Peninsula are designed to be challenging to a single level 58 character. A multiboxed group can tear right through them and be at level 60 with some good 'starter' gear in no time at all.

Just going through this with my melee team so I'll give my 2 cents ...

I leveled my guys 56-60 doing Strath & LBRS/UBRS. In hindsight, that was more pain then it was worth. I'd have much rather quested/instanced from 58 onwards in the penninsula. Ramparts will not only get you superior gear for your group, it'll do it faster as others have said.

In my case, I did those old instances for comparison sake. I've played WoW on/off since launch and remember how challenging those used to be when I played 1 toon. So I wanted to see the experience from a multi-box perspective.

Do kill quests for gear and mix in the instances for a change of pace. You'll level quick and keep from burning out.

    Again good comments.

Started up my own guild last night, because I got so much crap in my bags and banks and wanted to consolidate the items my toons might need in one place.

Im gonna try Stratholme and Scolomance and then head to outland because the gear is way better there

My team is "okey" geared, but I haven't really gone for any specific items etc. because I feel its a waste of time at this early stage... everytime I hit a new expansion the gear improves alot, so doing alot of tweaking etc. at this low level is sorta a waste of time.

I do mostly quests and then hit an instance once I get bored with the quests. Its a nice way to lvl and learn my team.
