Default What would you do? lvl 57

    Hi Guys,

I know I could just make a decision myself, but its always nice to hear your opinions.

My 5xteam is nearly 58 (/played 7day+ ) so im soon going to head out to Outland. Yir!

Anyway, what would you to? Wait until 60 then hit outland or go straight away when I hit 58?

On my normal toons I always run to outland the second I ding 58, but on a multiboxing team it takes more quests to gain lvl compared to running only one toon. Especially because I try to avoid collection quests as much as possible.

Mind you, I have never been in the two instances in Easter and Western plaguelands so im considering doing these a couple of times which should boost med to maybe 59 with the 8+ quests I have for these instances and incl. im always running on rested XP.

What im trying to avoid, is, in Outland having to grind to reach the correct lvl to be able to pickup quests or being forced to do alot of horrible collection quests (I do some of them, but in general I tend to avoid it).

Possible go and do ramps 3-4 times and you should gain those 2 lvls you need. I ran my 2boxed lvl 58's through there with a 80 pali and they were getting 1900xp a kill. Only a suggestion! And you will get some gear, good caster staff etc

I ran my 5x team to HFP at 58, avoiding collection quests where I could and I never had an issue getting quests. I ran Ramps maybe twice and never bothered to do BF. That team only did about 75% of Zangarmarsh (peeking into slave pens but never finished it), Nagrand, some Terrokar and about 60% of Blade's Edge when they hit 68 and off to Northrend they went.

Right now, I stayed to do all of Borean Tundra to get the achievements and got halfway to 72. Dinged 72 now in Howling Fjord.

For me, its definitely worth it to go as early as possible because the greens of Outland are better than Azeroth blues and Northrend greens are better then Outland blues.

Gear wise its definitely worth just to steam ahead into the new areas as soon as possible. I was more concerned about the quest stuff.

    Thanks for the answers.

Get to Outland as fast as possible. The xp literally doubles, the quests are grouped together nicely, versus sending you all over the world (that just gets worse the higher the level in original world quests).

The quests start at 58, and you'll be able to xp enough to keep yourself stocked with quests.

Personally I stayed in Outland until 70. You can start questing at 68 in northrend, but the quest density in Netherstorm, in particular, makes it worth going there for about two levels. Also, if you're on a PvP server, it's another coupe levels you won't run into anyone at all. Level 80's get brave in Howling Fjords and Borean Tundra when they're fighting people 10 levels lower.

Hit 58 and grind the goblins just outside of Thrallmar, I do that everytime I hit 58, xp is great and that way you dont lose out on the xp much needed for 60+. Or you could just bring them thru with instances with an 80. I know I'm gonna do this, my gear is so horrible after RAF.

I need to get more toons to 60, I'm not using RAF to its full potential only 4 toons to 49 and I'm a month down...

Impressive /played if you dont have RAF.

My first set of toons went tot he Outland at L60 and quested their way through to L70 at which point they went on to quest through Northrend. These toons were in the L70 zones when they dinged L70. By L75 they had completed almost all of the quests for their level and were struggling to find quests to get to L76 to enter Sholo... basin.

My Second set of toons, wen to the outland at L60 at which point I point the alterac valley queue, and quested whilst waitiing for AV.These toons were barely ouut of nagrand when they hit L68 and went to northrend. Still joining AV as much as possible, they are now L75 in that Zul zone. they skipped most of dragon blight due to outleveling the zone.
Av boosts questing exp trmendously and is a nice diversion from doing the same quests again.

on my pally team i figured i would do netherstorm and SMV. I was level 72 when I hit northrend. I hit 80 soon after I started zuldrak and got 3 of my 5 epic flyers by doing zuldrak, sholazar and icecrown. I am doing storm peaks to hopefully get the other 2 their epics.
I mix in some dailies and heroics during my questing. It was just nice to have several zones to finish at 80 for the extra gold.. i am sure if you BG to 80 and then do the zones you will have even more money.. I don't like PVP so I try and stay away from it. Collection quests don't bother me much but I must say that Zuldrak is the suck when it comes to collection quests.. almost the entire zone is 1 big collection fiesta.

If you want to level in the least amount of time, move to Outland at 58th and to Northrend at 68th.

If you want the easiest time leveling, get flyers (or epic flyers if you can afford it) at 60th and do Outland from 60 and beyond. Ding 70th before you hit Northrend, so you can already have cold flying.

For maximum gold, stay in Outland until you run out of quests. Then move to Northrend and quest both the low zones (Borean and Howling), move to Grizzly and Dragonblight etc. Do every zone, so hopefully you'll have most of Icecrown, Stormpeaks and possibly some of the Basin already at maximum level.

My last team moved to Northrend at 68th, so I'll probably stay in Outland till I'm done everything in Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley, just because I've not done those quests in a very long time, so it will help to keep the game more fresh. Plus as an added bonus, I'll escape some of the Northrend colelctions which I despise.

So to sum it all up, theres almost no difference whatever I do so my fears is not justified

Thanks for all the view points.

Like I said im not the most experiences wow player. My highest lvl toon is a mage on 69 which have done some quests in Northrend. Also this toon haven't done any instances in outland so im totally new to those. I have run through "most" of the quest in outland so I know my way around, but as you can see I still got alot of stuff to see and experience.

No boosting for me, I want to explore the instances and get my ass wooped..... Normally ill read up on the instances im headed into so I know what not to do, but its always an adrenaline rush to head into the unexplored

And no, I don't use RAF and im a rather casual player actually, which is why this site is a true treasurerchest of goodies and knowledge.
