Fire El's on stage 2 and constant grounding totem refreshes make him a cakewalk if you're talkin shaman. Normal ToC is probably the best way to gear up a fresh 80. Even if your group can only down the faction champs, you can just run them repeatedly until they are in enough purples to do the second fight, and then the same until you can down the black knight. I just geared up a second pally tank and a 4 priest team straight from greens to plenty of purples in 2 days in there. The pally alone got his legs, hands, boots, waist, and trinket going from garbage to ezmode heroic tank almost in 1 day.

agreed, normal toc is a pain when u bring a fresh team wearing greens/blue's in there. But when u keep at it, your team will gear up.

My shaman +dk team now have the faction champions and eadrick on farm.
The rest is still a tad too hard

My biggest pain was making it through the corpse explosion. I finally decided to attack the army insteed of the black knight to help out my fire elementals which wernt doing the job on their own.

Pop a bloodlust/heroism as well on stage 2 - makes the healing a bit easier, and should carry over into stage 3 when you're nuking away.
