It's all good to gank someone who isn't paying attention.
But its not fun when they fight back and kill your toon.

    The guy is a hypocrit.

If he doesn't want to die in a pvp situation, the solution is simple.
Play on a carebear server, avoid enemy cities and do not BG/Arena.

well even if you have 10 accs, multiboxing is easily the least expensive hobby you can have.
Only thing that beats it is soccer i guess, u just need a pair of shoes, pluss its boring as hell =)

At 8.99GBP x 5, it is definitely a lot cheaper than a night out on the tiles with a bunch of friends where you are forking out 15-30GBP/round (depending on who is there and where we are) on alcohol. And if I smoked it would potentially be a lot more expensive as well.

On the whole, £45/month on wow is a lot better than forking out that much on alcohol in a week.

Besides, I am starting to get a lot of people stopping and looking at me when I am running around with the 5 box team... and there have been no haters as yet

I was running around Hellfire around lvl 61-62 with my 4x Shaman team when someone messages me "REPORTED!". I replied back with the standard "k" response. He messaged me again calling me a cheater and a bunch of other fun and insightful stuff. After a few minutes of responding "k", I look at what guild he's in and amazingly he's in the same guild as my main.

So, I log over to my main and put a message in guild chat...

[Guild] Hey XXX, can you stop wasting your time reporting my shaman?

I had like 4 people go "???", ">.>" and "huh?".

He was like ... "That was you?!!?!?"

Me ... "About that cheater comment and everything following that ... "

Him ... "Oh, yeah, sorry about that..."

I play on Silvermoon EU Alliance side, and I have almost never received hateful comments. Its probably because Im still fairly low lvl.

Most of the comments is like:

    Multiboxing FTW
    NICE
    lol wtf is this?

Started with WoW just a few weeks ago, started to box a small week ago and now the happy owner of my 5x shaman team (lvl 30ish). First solo'd to 26 and no one was paying attention cq bothering me (which is good). Things will never be the same since i lined up my 5 guys:

    • one way or another lower players consider me a veteran now, they ask me stuff and I have no clue what they are talking about. They don't believe me when I say I just started with the game, and it has happened they call me a prick for not willing to provide them with the proper *expert* info. Which is hilarious.
    • established players don't believe I'm a newbie either, and they try to figure out which *established* player is behind my toons with suggestive/tricky questions about events in the past. Fun thing cause no way I can be fooled as I have no clue.
    • I seem to attract more goldsellers/farmers/scammers now (things like 'if you have an inactive account we will farm it for 150 gold a day', or 'are you selling those toons later on?', etc etc).
    • Most fun I had when someone called me 'Chinese', calling me a blatant cheater/goldfarmer/sweatshop victim. Just minutes before I saw him talking in chat in Dutch (as I'm Belgian thats my native language). So I try to impersonate broken Chinese English. Of course I forgot to de-activate enter broadcasting, making me reply with 5 toons. Some of his mates (also Dutch) jumped in making fun of this *Chinese guy*. Until I answered in perfect Dutch, pulling the joke on them. However they were fair enough to see the fun in the situation.

On a side note: many players on my server doesn't seem to be familiar with multiboxers (i haven't encountered an other one yet), they follow me a while, stand in front of me and ask the regular 'wtf'* questions. But most of the time this has let to some good and entertaining conversations.

    Talking

I've only been 5-boxing for a couple weeks. Never got much notice when i was dual boxing. However, running thru Stormwind with my team has gotten me a little attention. Most of the responses i get are the typical "wtf" or just curiosity... plus a few "lol" and "the rare "fail" comments. I did however have a couple encounters that made me chuckle. My team was waiting on me to finish looking something up on Wowhead, so rather than have them sit at the main gate of SW in AFK mode... I let them dance. When i looked up from my laptop, they had been joined by a level 80 Druid, dancing away and blowing kisses to the "girls".

The same afternoon, while running thru Old Town in SW, I had a lvl 80 follow me for quite a while. After making it to the Deeprun Tram, I see him yell "Look Out Everyone, Here comes the PAIN TRAIN" i started rolling.. and then thought..hmmm not a bad name for a guild

I recall once while playing an alliance group through Darkshire, this individual typed up some glorious, high-minded, spouting wall of text at me and then ran off to avoid my retort.

Don't you just love that behavior, spouting some long winded accusation and then they run off? I can just imagine them running off in RL yelling "lalalalalalala" with their fingers in their ears (that scene in Liar-Liar comes to mind).
I love the smell of electrocution in the morning!

I had another request to kill something so someone could watch recently, I love that. I'm running around Icecrown on a regular basis, and I think everyone is just used to my team, I havent had any snotty "'sup, botter?" comments in a long time.

The accusations of selling our accounts cracks me up, sell my accounts after all the work I've done?

Back during my RAF, I created a team of five druids.
All of them female night elves.

About 30 seconds into arranging their chat frames, etc...
And starting to configure their macro's...

Five more female night elf druids appear.
Not sure who it was, but we were chatting in /say with one toon each.
I was asked if I'm on dual-boxing.com at all.
I said I was, and the other boxer basically said they read but almost never post.

Another person logs in, and is listening to our conversation.
And basically going holy shit, quite a bit in chat.
Then we turn around and Wrath x5 a mangy cat or whatever..
    As we test our macro's.

The level 1 was really amused by 10 druids hanging around doing nothing.
But after 15-20 mins of tinkering around, we both leveled very quickly.
Had RAF at the same time, and ended up leaving the newbie area ahead of the solo boxer...
Who had a 15 min head start on us.

Kind of funny, what are the chances two boxers will log level 1 toons of the same race and class in at the same time, both configuring their teams for the first time? I added each of their names to my druids friend list, but never saw them again, at least not while playing the druids.
