My hunter macro broke

My survival hunter is now doing half the dps of the rest of the party. All I changed was how he gets a target from /cast [target=party1target, nodead] to /assist focus instead. Yes, the focus is set and no Aspect of the Viper isn't on. Here is my macro. Do you see any blaring errors?

First thing would be to take out reset=target as you are effectively retargeting every button press
Second thing I would try is to take out Kill Command

I was getting 800+ dps with this exact macro before the patch.

Oh yeah, I actually just put that target reset in to try something different. It actually didn't change anything. I tried a timed reset too, to no avail.

I could be wrong, but I think /cast [target=party1target, nodead] is a clientside command where /assist focus does a serverside check.

I changed all of my toons to /assist focus and they didn't lose any dps. That's what I don't get. I didn't change the macro's functionality at all. Nothing changed. I just logged on and switched to /assist focus because the other macro wouldn't work in AV, lol.

I adjusted the number of , by a bit and got about to around 633 dps. Still nowhere near the 1070 dps my lock does :/ It is a survival build, afterall. Maybe I'll try to dig up a good Beast Mastery spec/macro and try that. Anyone know of a good one?

Since you have the lock-and-load talent, you might want to move explosive shot to the end of your macro. Set it up like this:

/castsequence Steady shot,
/cast Explosive shot

and you'll be able to take advantage of your lock-and-load procs.

This should start with an explosive shot, place the dots, use steady shot as a filler and fire explosive shot when it's up. (You could use the !Autoshot trick mentioned in olipcs link to get the timings a bit better)

Lol, read up! The reason I resurrected this post is because someone else said I should END with Explosive Shot to catch my procs :/
