Default Ring of Valor and Blades Edge

Hey all, originally I used to love Ring of Valor but as my rating has gotten higher i've grown to lothe it. Biggest issue I have is the tremor totem bug where it must be planted on the ground to work (not on the elevator), i've been experimenting with a few different things...what i've had the most luck with so far has been straffing my alts in each direction so that as soon as the elevator hits the top they are almost immeidatly able to drop tremors. Against teams with destro locks (IE, all of them) this is pretty sweet as only some of them get stunned by shadowfury. Anyway spreading the guys out like this also has its disavdantages as you can imagine and seems to be more trouble then its worth at times, so im wonding what you guys are doing on this map and how well has it beenw orking for you?

With Blades edge , The only thing that seems to work is killing everyone on the bridge, If we setup on the ground and fight them there it can easily turn into a hopeless match....even if you kill 2 members of their team it seems that if people are dead on the ground it becomes way to difficult to stop resing if they have 2 resers...typically the indestrutable destro lock will widdle youd own and LOS while resers split up slowly bring the team back to life. The only thing that seems to work for me is just waiting on the bridge, sometimes for 5-10 minutes until they finally get bored and charge and never use TS unless someone is in danger of dieing. If everyone is dead on the bridge, resing seems much easier to control....it just sucks waiting 10 minutes for the other team to move in. Additionally, if you dont gib people with perfect combos each time they will jump off to avoid death. Thoughts/comments?

ROV: Welcome to the club, these are my exact feelings about ROV. Used to love it when it first came out, now that I'm playing 2300+ teams constantly (and yes all with destros of course), its the worst of them all. My solution is backpedal into the rear right corner of the elevator, and then quickly just backpedal off the corner once it reaches the top and recast totems(2 seconds). During that time I can still insta-cast EMLVB if I see a vulnerable target, or I can purge a couple times until I'm set up again.

Overall this is a ridiculous problem to have, but for now we have no choice as 2-3full fears in a row will destroy you.

Blades Edge, NEVER fight anywhere but the medial 75% of the bridge. There are so many bad spots on that map, and only a couple good ones. Watch the enemy team closely. If they attempt to flank you from underneath... do NOT stay and fight. Run to their side and set up totem camp again. Don't stand in the middle of the bridge, and don't fight with them on the concrete ramps.

Quite interesting reading. Can't wait for your guide to be up ^^.
Most teams just rush in ROV. I don't really see myself having time to place 4 totems and still survive these guys and on top of it blast someone Maybe it'll come... or not

BE: It's more than confirmed as far as my experience goes all statements made here. Fighting in the concrete is bad as there are 3 flanks to be attacked from and a lot of los game. On the other hand staying on top of the bridge and getting knocked back it's, again, as far as my experience goes, lost game. You can try and nuke one of the knockers but no chance if they're two. How do you handle this?

If there's an Ele sham on BE bridge I watch him very closely and drop him if he leads in first. Usually his TS will only knock me backwards, but if someone falls off my priest and I drop down too, and walk back up together.

Do you ever play the middle of the bridge for cleave teams without a ele shaman? It seems to be the best place to knock people off.

For any ranged teams I've found there's no reason to go past maybe the first third of the bridge or it's just a big LoS fest.

One thing we're having trouble with is rezzing. Some people die by thunderstorm and fall off, others die just around a corner at the ends of the birdge (tried to LoS a lvb). There are just so many angles from which they can rez these guys. I can think of at least 5 games where we were owning 2100+ teams and it turned into a 5+ minute game where they get 2-3 rezzes off because I'm down to 3 shaman that are oom and can't kill off the last 1 or 2 dps. Usually it's a priest healer left that gets the rezzes off. I swear they are the second hardest target to kill other than a destro warlock - their healing is insane, they never seem to go oom, and they can throw up enough passive heals on the last few dps that they can take a 10 second break to rez.

Pretty much sums it up imo.

And on that elevator totem bug...its sooo anoying.
im gonna try your tac next time im in there, go to a corner of the elevator and step back fast to get the totems out. Cant tell how many times i lost to fears in that arena. Many people actualy dont know the bug even exist.

As for the nagrand arena. Any sweetspots you would recomend?
i have been rushing to the corner where the invis buff comes and set up camp there, but im not so happy with it. any sugestions?
