Taking this a step further, put your toon in front of a Combat Dummy and target the dummy. Open your Knowledge Boot. Right click on a hotbutton on the hotbar and choose "Create Macro" (or Edit Macro, if it's already a macro). Drop in some spells/combat_arts. Within the Macro window, click on the Test button a bunch of times and watch the order in which the spells are fired off. Adjust location, click test some more.

Now you should fully understand the insanity that is building a Macro in EQ2 . Enjoy!
