How similar in comparison is Aion to L2? How different is the combat, class mechanics, group synergy, world design, ect? Besides the flying of course. I've dabbled in beta a bit, but someone who's been playing it from release would know what's really going on, and low levels are horrible for understanding how a game really plays.

I enjoyed L2, but the population ratio being more bots than players really killed it for me.
