Efficient PvP team?

Are shammies + healer still the more efficient multibox team in Arena PvP? Are there other viable options? I'm thinking about switching from PvE to PvP, so any input on team selection is appreciated. I'll make a new team specifically for PvP - will probably level them i BG's to get some practice also.

I would say 90% of us that PvP are running quad shamans.

I actually have 5 but my 5th is basically a fresh 80 so I only play that one if I'm doing a BG and my healers aren't online (the extra lava burst and chain lightning does help but I do better if I'm running quad + a healer).

Quad shammies it is then - any suggestions for healer? I probably won't use a dedicated healer until lvl 80. Paladin?

Druid is nice. They can travel form while the shaman spirit wolf and they have sick survivability. Pallys are weak AoE healers.

are you talking leveling a healer to do arenas? if so.. i would not advise it.. its best to have other person do the healing.. but for a 5 team.

do 4 sham. 1 pali (can tank when needed), heal when needed..
4 sham 1 druid, (can tank when needed), can heal when needed.

No, I'm going with a quad team + 1. The fifth is just for levelling and later on maybe use him as raid char. I figure I might as well use the fifth active account I have when I'm paying for it. My brother is boxing too, so we might both level a quad team + healer and we can take turns healing for the other person in arena or something like that
