    Default Firenova DREAM BUFF

    I don´t know if you guys have seen this
    But I feel a dream has come true
    Firenove will recieve a buff in patch 3.3

    And i cant imagin the possibilities this will give us against melee attackers.

    That kicks so much ass it's not even funny. 5 magmas + 5 firenovas every cooldown = pretty wicked AoE. What is the cooldown for the fire nova spell? (I'm not on PTR).

    It's 10 seconds. You can talent it down to 6 and then Glyph it down to 3, I believe.

    I dont know if this is possible, but who knows. I thougth the chainlightning 15% buff would be the final buff for shaman in wotlk but it seems theres more comming. yet it does have a 1.5sec global cooldown, and they even talk about removing the global cooldown on it, sence it dosnt stun anymore, just imagin that guys blow firenova on all chars followed by a thunderstorm from all youre chars, count that damage :P

    But just the idea of being able to blow 4x novas "when you want it to" without even having the nova totem down, it works on every fire totem. thats gotta be one of the sickest multiboxing buff´s in history

    I admit that I'm pretty excited about it, but my only issue is that you're going to have to get the shamans into "the thick of it" in order to drop those totems down where they can AoE monsters. Not a huge deal, but if you like keeping some distance between your shamans and the tank, it could cause problems. Especially with Magma totem, given the short duration of it.

    But still a major buff (with the possible exception of PvP stuns)

    It will be nice to have some AoE for trash, though, since DPS meters get so inflated by it. When I'm running Arlassa on group runs, her DPS is always low up until we get to bosses, when she outshines all those AoE spamming hunters and druids. hehe. I love Shaman single-target DPS, but this will be a lovely addition.

    Only problem is they removed the stun.. which was its real use in pvp

    It does lose the stun, but yet id rather want a timed 15k aoe dmg

    Anyone else considered the possibilities of dropping long lasting totems like Wrath in a choke point (door, just behind a wall in WG) and sitting off to one side waiting for people to run past?

    Reminds me of playing Duke Nuken 3D with the pipe bombs. Hiding behind a barrel with my thumb poised on the detonate button

    If they end up removing the GCD I would crap myself and insta-gladiator. If they don't, I probably wont even use it. That 1.5 secs is everything. Keep your fingers crossed!
