Oh gawd. I was just spanked badly by Bronjahm, only partly because he had me laughing my ass off the whole time.

I was getting a bit frustrated with his blue swirly AOE, which hits the entire platform and two-shots my warlocks. I checked wowwiki and found out that part of the damage is based on the victim's mana ... so am I supposed to go into this fight basically dry? He hits like a truck besides, and I can't kill his healy orb before it reaches him and tops him off, so WTF?

So I checked this thread. "He does a little AOE that's easily healable" ... are you KIDDING? Dude, are we playing the same game? That is FAR from "easily healable!" What are you smoking, man? What are ... are ...

Um. Oh. I had it set to heroic.

I'm done for the night, but will try it on regular tomorrow, and expect that I will find the AOE easily healable.

Shit how do you guys avoid getting instantly killed by the last AoE the Devourer of Souls unleashes? It kills my guys real fast (they were all dead in 1.5secs).

Same here. Although my team is filled with almost all pvp gear......he one shots one of my guys the sec he does his little jump thing.

Jump thing isnt too hard to avoid. As soon as you see his red beam come out, start running and then when he jumps, keep running until you are sure everyone is at least 5 yards from him. Then turn around and beat the crap outta him. I beat this after 8 wipes, but it was pure luck. I would always get him to 10% or so and then he will do his 3rd phase of a frontal AoE that hits you about every .4 secs. It's basically instant death if you dont strafe COUNTER clockwise to him. They will get hit once, but should live through it. Good thing is once you are out of AoE you dont have to heal or anything, just full on dps.

its not the aoe, its the debuff.
Once he starts siphoning you need to stop dps, because damage done to him=damage done to the toon that he is siphoning(or how i should call it)
