Thread: Some questions

Much easier to share your config, it can be copied and pasted (Right click on "ISBoxer" and select "Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard")

If an option is cut off, I would guess it might be due to font size or something being changed in Windows. The Targeting helper options used by the action in the FTL Assist Me key reads as follows: But first, Assist Hot Character (which is apparently cut off for you). If Target Hot Character is selected, it will target you instead of assisting you, which isn't what you want.

For FTL Follow Me, which is being used by the Follow/JambaMaster selection for each of your Slots, it sounds like there is a conflicting keybind on Ctrl+F11 in WoW. The FTL Modifiers are Left and right Ctrl, and the key it's pressing with those for the Follow key (unless you changed it) is F11. So when switching to characters 1 or 2, it is broadcasting left/right Ctrl+F11. If Ctrl+F11 is bound to something else in WoW, that will happen instead of the bind on F11 that is checking which modifiers are down.

Changed from Large Font to Standard Font, and now nothing is cut off.

Started Over; I went File -- Clear ISBoxer Toolkit Profile.
My profile can be found here: http://pastebin.com/m24aafd53

I went into Warcraft for each toon on the three teams I'm interested in playing Pally+Shaman's, Druids x5 and Mixed Team x5.
For these, I removed every keybinding that uses Alt or Control and an F-key or number.
    I still have these keybinds:
    Shift A, Shift S, Shift D, Shift F, Shift G, Shift H, Shift J, Shift K, Shift L, Shift ;
    Shift F1, Shift F2, Shift F3, Shift F4, Shift F5, Shift F6, Shift F7, Shift F8, Shift F9, Shift F10

I ran the ISBoxer Toolkit Wizard again.
I've made these changes from what the Wizard gave me:
    1. Changed the Hotswitch keys to G13, G14, G15, G16 and G17.
    2. Changed the Invite hotkey to G18.
    3. Given each slot a unique FTL modifier, not using Shift for any of them.
    4. In Keymaps (General), Changed FTL Assist hotkey to F, changed the Key Combination to F, and unchecked "But First", and typed /target {FTL} in the Macro Generator window.
    5. In Keymaps (General), Changed the FTL Follow Me hotkey to G3.
    6. In Keymaps (General), Changed Toggle Jamba Follow Strobing Hotkey to MR. On Step 1, added MR Light On. On Step 2, added MR Light Off.
    7. In Keymaps (Control), Changed Activate Maps hotkey to M3. Added Light on to Step 1 and Light off to Step 2.
    8. In Keymaps (Control), Copied Repeater. Renamed the first Keyboard Repeat. Renamed the second Mouse Repeat.
    9. Altered Keyboard Repeat to only turn on/off Keyboard Repeating. Changed the Hotkey to M1, added Light On/Off.
    10. Altered Mouse Repeat to only turn on/off Mouse Repeating. Changed the Hotkey to M2, added Light On/Off.
    11. In Windows Layouts, Remove Border around main window and "Slave" regions Always on Top are both checked.
    12. Session 1 borrows a region from the Active Window.

Pressing the F key in game results in each of the other targets assisting the Active Character. (Assist issue fixed).
*Edit* Restarted IS, and this no longer works although at that point nothing was changed in ISBoxer Toolkit.

Pressing G13 through G17 to switch which character is in the large region still results in attempting to cast something on the default action bar.

G1 through G12 still acts as if I'm also pressing F1 through F12 at the same time. Putting my assist action onto G2 for example results in all the other toons assisting the hot character, but the hot character targeting the party member as if they had pressed F2 in game.

If I Alt-Tab out of game, to get to Firefox or ISBoxer Toolkit, and then return to Inner Space, one of the windows is fine, but all of the others are heavily distorted with text mostly ineligible. The FPS in the top left is enlarged. Pressing Escape for the wow menu brings up the window, but every option is entirely blurred beyond recognition.

Hmm restarted Inner Space after dinner...
And I cannot get the toons to assist to pick a target.

    It's confusing.
The assist is exactly the same as the one called by the FTL for spells on keys 1 to =.
But to actually get the slaves to target the hot characters target, so I can click my interact with target keybind... no go, once again.

    Some weird behavior.

    I turn keyboard repeating on.
    Have every toon /Target Judsea
    I then turn repeating off.
Now they all have a target.

I have Lesser Healing Wave on hotkey 4 on each of the shaman's.
That particular hotkey is blank on the Paladin.

If I'm on the toon in Slot 1, characters in slots 2 and 5 cast.
The shammies in Slots 1 and 4 do not cast.

If I'm on the toon in Slot 2, characters in slots 2 and 5 cast.
The shammies in Slots 1 and 4 do not cast.

If I'm on the toon in Slot 3 (Paladin) all four shammies cast.

If I'm on the toon in Slot 4, all four shammies cast.

If I'm on the toon in Slot 5, characters in slots 2 and 5 cast.
But shammies in slots 1 and 4 do nothing.

At the password stage, I turn on keyboard repeater and turn off keymaps.
When I'm at the account/password screen, the numbers above the letters do not work.
I need to use the NumPad to enter the numerical portion of my password.
Once I'm in game, the numbers above the letters work fine again.

On a fresh install of the G15 Profiler software, it will detect World of Warcraft.
The WoW default profile has G1 through G12 functioning the same as pressing F1 through F12.
Within ISBoxer Toolkit and Inner Space, those G-keys are functioning the same way.
If I make a keymap, and click on the icon to the right to type a key combination in, pressing a G-key has it display the F-key of the same number.

If instead of pressing the G-key itself, I use the scroll down arrow, I can manually pick a G-key instead of entering it.
When I manually pick it, the G-key press activates the intended keymap correctly.
However, it also functions the same as pressing the associated F-key.
So for example anything on G1 will also have the hot character target themselves, or anything on G2 will have them target the first party member.

I'd like to configure an assist key where the slaves all end up with the same target as the hot character.
With the automatic FTL on the default bar, they end up casting at the same target as the hot character, but they don't change their target.
Pretty much, the closest I can get to an assist in Keymaps is to have the slaves target the hot character.

I tried to make a Keymap where "all without current" press the F key, and assigned it the F hotkey.
F within wow is the default (and my) assist key.
However, F does not cause the other toons to assist their target.
Even turning keyboard repeating on, F does not cause assist.
I'm not sure if that's because I had F as a hotkey for a keymap, but even after I removed F as the hotkey, it is not broadcast in game.
I made a keymap for Shift-G, in exactly the same manner, except instead of "All without Current", the group was Shammies; Shift-G is my hotkey for Totemic Recall.

Another issue... (I'm going to get this program to work, I like the features)...

I ran the wizard again, and this time added the characters for my Druid team.
The druids have no hotkeys set, no keybinds set within warcraft.
Basically nothing that can conflict with IS Boxer.

I checked automatic FTL for this team too.
For every keymap, it still has the FTL syntax for my shaman team.

Do I need a different set of FTL modifiers for a new team?
    In the wizard, I set:
-- slot 1 to Left Control.
-- slot 2 to Right Control.
-- slot 3 to Left Alt.
-- slot 4 to Right Alt.
-- slot 5 to Left Alt + Left Control.
Which is the same as I had set for the Pally/Shaman team.

When I try to make an FTL keymap for this team, it has the FTL modifiers correct, except they still refer to the Shaman/Paladin names and not the Druid names.

How do you use IS for more then one team?

I believe you need to disable or remove the Gkey profile so that you do not get IS picking up the G keys and performing your actions, and then the profile causing a simultaneous F key press all the time.

When you are setting up a key, there is the "Target" entry box for which clients to send, just to the right of it is a little asterisk * that when you click it, lets you change the team used for previewing the names in macros.

You should be fine using the same modifiers over and over, as long as you create a new team. The names showing in the macros as you edit them are just examples, the final generation will take place properly for all teams when you export to innerspace.

With so many long posts it's hard to follow and know where you're at exactly. I'm actually not sure how many parts I need to respond to

What Aboron said is accurate and should help (both posts). You shouldn't need to change anything to make it work for your other character sets, the final macro text thing is purely a display issue and solved by changing the team that is being displayed as Aboron mentioned about the * button.

Note that the "press the key combination here" box will currently only detect normal keyboard and mouse buttons (and if you hit G1 and it comes up as F1 in the box, it is from the keyboard's profile pressing F1). All other buttons have to be manually selected from the drop-down as you've discovered.

At the password stage, I turn on keyboard repeater and turn off keymaps.
When I'm at the account/password screen, the numbers above the letters do not work.
I need to use the NumPad to enter the numerical portion of my password.
Once I'm in game, the numbers above the letters work fine again.
They do not work as in even on the current window no number is typed? If Key Maps are actually ON (noting that the first step actually turns them on instead of off), then they're first going to be pressing your assist key, then the number key.

    4. In Keymaps (General), Changed FTL Assist hotkey to F, changed the Key Combination to F, and unchecked "But First", and typed /target {FTL} in the Macro Generator window.
You want this one to /assist {FTL}, not /target or /targetexact. Unless you're using something like /cast [target=targettarget] in your action bar buttons I guess, but if your other teams aren't doing that this would be a problem.
