Oh man I'm mad. I'm having trouble w/ the first boss even at lvl 74.

I got him to about 33% best attempt of 5. I can't keep enough damage on him, while trying to manage the frosttombs.

I think I've at least kept the skeletons on the tank, but th FT's arent going down fast enough. As soon as I get 1 down, he's back up w/ another, 50% chance it's on the same one.

Mana seems to be a big issue, early.
Paladin, Holy Priest and 3 Affliction locks.

What are you using for pets? if you are using all imps maybe try using the felhunter instead for this fight. have a macro

    /petattack [target=frost tomb,exists][harm]

Also I find it easier to run my guys to the left and keep my tank between them and kel to grab adds. Then stack my guys together and not spread them out. saves time on my guys targeting the frost tomb.

as far as pets, been using succubi (for melee and random seduces on the humanoids) on 2 locks and 1 w/ the Imp (for the health buff).

    /target Frost Tomb
    /petattack

on all but the tank, as a seperate macro.

Now I don't know if adding Corruption on that will help much.
Once out of the FT I can Hellfire x3 to rid f skeletons, but that puts me way down on mana, w/o much/any time b4 he drops the next FT. I was thinking on my next attempt, forget Hellfire and just Seed himx3 to take care of skeletons?

Idk, mana seems to be the biggest issue other than dropping FT fast enough.

For him I tend to use Frost res aura on my pally, helps a bit with healing. Holy Wrath does a number on the skellies, and you can cast Searing Pain on the Frost Tombs for fast cast, decent damage and low mana cost. If you really, really need to assist in taking down skellies, I'd suggest RoF on round robin or just seeding so you're not making matters worse for your healer.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. A couple good suggestions there.

UK is the one instance that has caused me the most problems so far.
Literally made me retire my hunter dps team.

Is it doable to gear up in other Northrend instances first?
    Valerion - Protection Paladin - 80
    Kawachi - Elemental Shaman - 80
    Kahachi - Elemental Shaman - 80

you could stack on top of the prince and aoe to do this boss. keep dots on him and rain of fire while the pally keeps consecrate up. The ice tomb and skell adds will drop in seconds and with all that shadow resist your group offers this boss should be cake. If mana is an issue for you, pop a renew on each warlock before you aggro the prince and life tap after the first few spells you cast. Make a macro to life tap and eat a healthstone. If you're affliction, did you not spec dark pact? If your priest is the one having mana issues i'm not sure how to help other than to wonder what stats you're gearing him with and to say try and stay in the 5 second rule as much as possible with big heals and no spamming.

Main problem isnt really the ice tombs imo, allways been the adds for me. So, with my shamans i put down fire elemental totems when i was leveling and that took care of that. With my mixed group i just used rains(mage/druid/lock) when they spawned, pretty sure you can do the same with your locks :P
