No. You are highly unlikely to run into any issues. Svper actually had a lucky guess as to why the bound WoW macro Ctrl+Shift+Alt+I worked but the ISBoxer hotkey didn't -- it is usually far more likely that the person with this issue installed ISBoxer to somewhere other than IS and as a result, the ISBoxer binds wouldn't get made. I've only heard of about 3 or 4 people having this issue with the keyboard layout. Can you provide more details on the IS restriction?
I use - and want to continue to use - a UK layout G15. Am I likely to run into problems if I decide to swap over to IS?
I'll explain the "restriction" briefly. If you have multiple input languages active in Windows, different applications may be configured use a different language. For example, one of my PCs has 4 different languages active for testing, including Swedish, French, Chinese, and US English. The problem comes when ISBoxer is using a different input language than WoW, because ISBoxer and Inner Space are resolving key names based on what Windows is reporting. If ISBoxer is in Danish mode for example, then when you Export to Inner Space it's going to write key names in Danish, e.g. Shift is SKIFT. Then Inner Space tries to read the configuration, and say WoW is in English mode, now it has no idea what the hell SKIFT is because the key is very clearly called Shift according to Windows.
For the vast majority, either there is only one input language installed, or both ISBoxer and World of Warcraft will use the same input language. You can tell if applications are using different input languages by using the Language Bar in Windows (right click the Taskbar and it's under Toolbars > Language Bar). It should show a 2-letter identification of the language of the active application, so if you click on the ISBoxer window and look at it, it might say something different than if you click on WoW and look at it. If it does, then THAT is the issue -- there is absolutely nothing wrong with using a different keyboard layout.
The issue may be related to an option that, at least in Vista, is in the Administrative tab of the "Regional and Language" control panel, called Language for non-Unicode programs (or "System locale"). If you have a default input language selected that is different than the system locale setting, that could possibly be causing the problem. If not, then I'm not sure the particular reason it would happen automatically, unless some other software is installed that changes the input language.
Hope that clears it up[07:26] <Demliz> Hello, i've recently bought Innerspace and im trying to use ISBoxer, and for some reason. none of the existing hotkeys works exept ctrl shift alt + i the invite key (I used the Wizard-Quick-Setup-Thing) otherwise i dont get a flashy green text that says ON off or what ever...
[08:20] <Svpernova09> You used the quick wizard?
[08:22] <Demliz> yes
[08:22] <Svpernova09> Are you using a non-US keyboard layout?
[08:23] <Demliz> yea
[08:23] <Svpernova09> Thats why, it's not recognizing modifiers correctly.
[08:24] <Svpernova09> Swap to a US layout and it will work
[08:24] <Svpernova09> The other option, is to (I can never remember this part exactly) there is a way to run IS / ISBoxer using whatever your native layout is.
[08:24] <Demliz> ok going into configuration
[08:25] <Demliz> and Language
[08:25] <Demliz> Check it to Swedish
[08:25] <Demliz> i guess..

[08:28] <Demliz> it did not work
[08:28] <Demliz> even thought i have English layout on the keyboard
[08:28] <Svpernova09> Did you try to change the localization for ISBoxer / IS, or did you swap your keyboard layout to US?
[08:29] <Demliz> i swaped my keyboard layout to US
[08:29] <Svpernova09> Did you restart IS and ISBoxer?
[08:29] <Svpernova09> I've never had this problem, I'm US for everything, so I've only seen this talked about as the solution
[08:30] <Demliz> hum i worked it out now
[08:31] <Demliz> Me and my girlfriend are using the same computer running, 2 keyboards 2 mice and she had her setting to native
[08:31] <Svpernova09> Yah, that would do it.
