I've cleared all Heroics with my warrior apart from Suckulus (bascially I just loath that instance) and I don't find him very micromangement intensive. I am not using any castsequence macros either just use the ability which either comes up, is available or is the best for the current situation.
And holding aggro isn't a problem either even on multiple mobs. The only instance where my pally def. made things easier is the Brann event apart from that he just tanks as good as any other class even from a multiboxing perspective (that's what I think anyway).

Can you tell me what priority I should have in abilities? What rotation do you start off with? I've decided to level him to 80 with the mage and warlock to see what its like, so if it doesnt work at 80... no biggie, I've got other choices for tank.

Your dps will likely be limited by the recast delays or durations, rather then the cast time of their spells.

With a click sequence, you're spamming... usually 2-5 times per second.
The castsequence will just move to each ability/spell along the way as the GCD allows.
The click sequence will work in conjunction just fine, as long as your click speed is consistent with the comma/delays.
I understand (mostly) how click and castsequence are different, what Im not positive (but pretty sure) is do different buttons with the following.
    SpambuttonA / SpambuttonB:
    /click button1
    /click button2
    /click button3

mess up the /click sequence if I move from spambuttonA to spambuttonB(which are functionally identical).

Good start Fursphere, you can make it a bit more powerfull if you take the following into account.

Heroic strike is used after the swing timer resets, so basicly you can do this (dont have the exact macro by hand, but with the heroic strike glyph it doesnt cost any rage which is imba).

    /cast revenge
    /cast heroic strike

    2nd
Cleave can be used to tank multipe mobs like tunderclap. Cleave is like heroic strike in the sense that its a 'on next attack' type of spell.

    3. Make macro's for your shieldslam
    /cast shieldblock
    /cast shieldslam
(something like that, dont have my macro's at work )

If you where making a warrior macro, I would suggest making 2, one for single boss fights and one for situations with more then 1 mob. If only TC would have like a an effect like consecration and that d&c thingy from dk's

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Shield Block (Bloodrage also) does not use the GCD so you can keep it up by dropping /cast Shield Block into your spam.

I was trying to think how to add revenge to my tank spam, what bout this:
    /cast Bloodrage
    /cast Shield Block
    /click1
    /click2

    2
    /castsequence reset=? Shield Slam,,Devastate,,Devastate,,Devastate

    1
    /cast Revenge
    /cast Heroic Strike
Would the commas allow tthe /click to try Revenge incase it's proc'd

*Problem* Would it always throw Heroic Strike even if Revenge fails?

I like to leave a Shockwave,TC castsequence on a sperate key so I can hit it if the need arises.

As a long time warrior player, I figured I'd toss some of my warrior macros in here - maybe they can be tweaked for your purposes....

    #showtooltip [help] Intervene; Charge
    /dismount
    /cast Bloodrage
    /cast [help,stance:2] Intervene; [help,nostance:2] Defensive Stance; [harm,stance:1/2] Charge; [harm,stance:3] Intercept
    /cast [target=focus] Taunt; Taunt

    #showtooltip
    /dismount
    /cast [modifier:shift] Spell Reflection; Disarm

    #showtooltip Heroic Strike
    /startattack
    /cast [stance:2] Revenge; [stance:1] Overpower
    /cast Heroic Strike

    #show Recklessness
    /cast Shield Block
    /cast [stance:3] Recklessness; Berserker Stance
    /cast Defensive Stance

    #show Retaliation
    /cast [stance:1] Retaliation; Battle Stance
    /cast Defensive Stance

    #showtooltip
    /cast [stance:3] Whirlwind; [modifier:shift]Spell Reflection; Shield Slam
    /startattack
    /cast Shield Block
Resto Shaman + 4 DK's, work in progress...

Thanks Fur, will give this a try when I get home.

edit: for the shield block can I just throw that it anywhere since it doesnt consume a GCD?

Guess I rate micro management based on the number of keys I have to spam to tank any pack or single mob. With my pally its a single button cast sequence (with RightDef, HoS triggered from a Healbot click) which works fine even for raiding. The warrior is not so simple... that's all. I have not flipped my drood into bear, and I am in the process of leveling some DKs, so I can't really comment on those two for complexity.

Again, play what you like, have fun!
