Default 3 Locks (affliction), 2 Shamans (resto)

Any hope for this team? Admittidly I'm new to both locks and shamans, but I'm hoping the DoT everything up without worrying about facing the correct direction while spamming heals will be somewhat viable. Do locks have enough survivability to buy the DoTs time? Do shamans have enough burst healing to keep everyone up? I'd prefer druid healing, but I need the fear protection (I'm hoping two staggered tremor totems is enough to kill fears easily).

From what I read (I dont Arena) it's too difficult to heal and dps in arena effectively. So maybe its better to get someone to heal for you.

In battlegrounds, you'll be a viable team.
Just about any combination can work.

Two members of your team can rez.
    You have three health stones.
You will have three AoE fears, at least one should be instant if you go deep enough for Unstable Affliction to protect the teams dots.
Eight totems is a lot of options too.

I'd probably run them all affliction, easier to macro.
I do like the AoE warlock stun (deep Destruction)..
You'll have the option of Corruption + three Curses or Corruption + Agony.

Not sure how well you'd do in arena.
The more classes you have, the harder it is to be optimal for each.

I leveled 6x afflic locks 4x resto druids to 75 in AV from 70. I would take druids for your heals over shamans.

    1. Druids have massive AoE heals with wild growth. I had 4 which made me almost immune to death but even 2 will be really nice.
    2. You have all the other HoTs that can be cast on the run without stopping at all. This is important with affliction locks, you'll be running around like crazy.
    3. You don't need fear protection! So you get feared..who cares? You don't need to be facing your target to dot them up and when you get feared you can't get AoE'd. Only problem will be the wild growth heals won't be as effective. Just macro up a heal for each of your toons.
    4. You don't need to be in the same party ever which is a big plus.

Locks have nice survival skills even though they are clothies. As affliction you will get a portion of your damage back as healing and you can still spec to have your demons take a portion of your damage.

This group is way fun to BG and I will go back to them. I just had to level my 10x shaman team for the instant gibbing and to finish off a 10 man raiding team. I have no arena experience yet so everything I said is for BG's.

Wow, 10 boxing shamans.... I bet you friggin tear everything up! Once you hit 80 i bet youd be much better off speccing at least 2 of them resto, i run 5 elemental shaman, and other than a few really geared people, I do a lot of overkill damage. With 2x as many, you could probably one shot someone with just flameshock...

Man, that makes me want to start 10 boxing...... with ISBoxer it should be very easy, just pick a new leader and keep going... I bet dying sucks though, unless you are good at healing yerself... I usually just go all out dpsing, and forget about healing, then try and rez/reincarnate after i nuked em all, or go out in a blaze of glory so i can release all at once, praying that a GY caps before I do...

Well 1 of my shamans is 80 already so I am running 9 shamans + 1 resto druid. The druid just spams wild growth to keep up the group.

The funnest thing about that many shamans is putting up lightning shield. When someone comes up to AoE me I just hit a chain heal on all of them and the enemy literally commits suicide from all the lightning orbs. I add on thorns to all of them too. Some alliance are so stupid they don't ever realize putting a blizzard or hurricane on me will kill them. I see the same people doing it over and over.
