Well, I buy mine always at amazon, it's cheap and fast there (I do only know it for germany..)
It really depends on what you want exactly but I have previously bought serial numbers from http://www.gamersloot.net
The site looks crap and it's not the most easy to navigate system but it works. Personally I bought 3 numbers from them (make sure u get the eu/us ones respectively) and they rang me up within 10 minutes of my order (to confirm my identity) then emailed me scanned images of the serial numbers.
You don't get a physical copy of anything but you do get your code within a few minutes.
play.com or amazon are both good bets, check for the battlechest. I got lucky with mine and picked up WoW for £5 at HMV during a sale just before the battlechest came out, a friend picked up the TBC boxes for me dirt cheap in NL, but I've seen them for £10 on play.com.
Shop around, January sales might mean HMV/Virgin etc have them cheaper than online stores
