Default Starter pvp set for elemental shamans?

I noticed a level 78 set for what looks to be resto but does anyone recommend a certain set for starting that's crafted for ele or does one not exist in wrath?

That's the only PVP set to my knowledge. Better than nothing though

I started with the Stormhide set, but quickly replaced it with PvE epics once I hit heroics. The additional stats and firepower outweighed the benefits of resilience.

The real starter PvP gear is the stuff you buy with honour, WG tokens and the last couple of pages of the PvE dungeon token vendors.

I started with the Stormhide set as well. Tho its not a great set to challenge your opponents, it is a set to get started and cheap to make.

I never did any Heroics with my team so that was about the only option. I replaced the set slowly with BG epics, and now Arena ofcourse.

Basically if you have some gold to blow, the blue level 78 sets are a slight head start on pvp gearing.
If you don't have the gold, you'll die a bit more often in the gearing up process.
You will eventually replace every piece of the set with honor/arena gear.

PvE gear can be better then some PvP gear, for PvP play.
    Especially when you're starting out.

I'd get a 5's arena team as soon as your 80th.
Lose your 10 games a week, but try to win them and see what beat you.
Basically every other week, you can buy a piece a lot cheaper with Honor + Arena Points.

Over time, your gear will improve.
You'll also learn what works against which classes.
Both will help you PvP better.
Gearing up can be painful, but in the end it just takes time.
