Default Rank of classes by their threat

So I was thinking about which classes I choose as primary targets based on how dangerous they are to my team.

    Melee
    1) Warrior
    2) Rogue
    3) Death Knight
    4) Enhancement Shaman
    5) Paladin

    Ranged
    1) Warlock
    2) Mage
    3) Elemental Shaman
    4) Hunter
    5) Priest

Now in my brackets we face more melee cleave then wizard cleave and I've noticed they'll try to bait me into killing someone else which leaves the warrior to whrily twirly his way to victory. My strategy now is going to be to inital flame shock the warrior and start purging him to get him as low as possible and then blow him up. With blade storm out of the picture cleave becomes much more managable, I just need to find a way to turn my shamans togather that's effecient.

What classes do you target first in 5v5?

Those classes may be the most dangerous, but dangerous doesn't usually mean good kill targets.

It really varies with comp, but here is roughly my mental ranking of kill targets as I enter a match(Juiciest choice to worst choice)

1: DPS Shaman (yup we're squishy as hell and pose a big threat, especially coupled with a destro or arcane. Just eat their grounding before you blow any cooldowns)
2: Hunter (An ignored hunter will make even single target healing almost impossible. Must die. You'll have to get it off quick, and also without targeting them)
3: Warrior (smart ones will charge sword and board, I treat them like rogues, shock to bait their Def CDs and pick someone else)
4: DPS druid (I have yet to see one at high ratings, druids overall pose little to no threat as dps, and they are the least reactive healer as well)
5: Ret Pally (once again, you have to be quick and don't target them first)
6: Mage (This season arcane mages are proving to be one of the most dangerous classes to have nuking you, squishy but you have to bait the IceBlock first )
7: Rogue (RARELY go for them first, but I usually throw 4xflameshock on them as early as possible so they burn their defensive cooldowns, I usually come back to rogues as a 3rd target or so)
8: Priest (you will never see a DPS priest. Primary targets in a match are DPS, therefore you'll usually skip these guys til last)
9: DK (somewhat easy to kill but too many anti-spell cooldowns. Never waste an EM on a DK)
10: Warlock (near impossible to kill, and very dangerous. Utilize grounding totems and pray. High rated destro locks require about 60-75K damage to take down, never waste cooldowns on them either)
11: Prot Pallies (the new 100% cheat death for deep prot - if unsure, check HP pools to see if they're prot. Prot Pally DPS is making an appearance this season, they can kick out decent damage so don't ignore them forever. Note: Ran against a 41k HP prot dps tonight... ouchies)
