Never tried buyxg.com, but got a laptop and a PC from Cyberpower a few years back. I was happy with the quality of both the laptop and the PC, but that's about it.

Neither machine was extremely custom, yet they kept pushing the ship date back every week claiming they were "waiting for parts to come in that are on back order". I ordered it on a Friday and was given an expected ship date of Thursday the next week. It ended up shipping out 3 weeks later. They also never emailed or called me throughout the whole ordeal to let me know my order was delayed. I had to make contact with them every time the ship date they'd give me passed and they never offered anything off the price or to cover the shipping costs to make up for the inconvenience. The manor in which they pack their products is top notch though. Very safe and secure to prevent damage during shipping.

Their prices are reasonable if you're someone who does not know how to spec out and assemble a PC, but if you can then you'll certainly save a bundle buying all your components and assembling it yourself.

I still have both machines which my wife now uses, and though outdated at this point they still function well and have had no problems with them.

One thing you might think about doing is checking out www.microcenter.com and see if there is a store near you. The prices there are really good for PCs that can handle multiboxing very smoothly by just upgrading the video card and throwing in a few more gigs of RAM which even the layperson can replace without much difficulty.

Also, if you have a decent understanding of PC's and their components you might trying checking out the computer section of Craigslist in your area. Sometimes you come across really good machines that are new or barely used for dirt cheap prices! I got my current Multibox PC ( i7, 12 gig RAM, 2 1TB drives, 260GTX, Vista64, 24in monitor, etc.) for $600 off a college student at Harvard (I live in Boston) who's parents bought it for him at the beginning of the school year and decided a month later he wanted a MAC (which of course they bought his spoiled ass). Be sure if you take this approach you know how to run some diagnostics, do a bench test, and verify warranty coverage on the PC and it's components before buying it.
