Its depends on what operating system yer running and how much memory you have.
You could 5 box before duo cores even came out.
Well looks like win7 with 6 gigs of memory should be fine but the only way yeh know for sure is to try it.

it has a gtx 260 which i hear is a good card to fivebox on considering,. Any other oppinions

I bet it can run 5. You'd probably have to turn the graphics down on the alts, but I don't think it will be a problem. I had good results turning sound off on my alts.

That can definitely run 5 man since my laptop is slower than that.
My 2yrs old laptop is Core2 Duo 2.0GHZ, GEForce 8600 and 4GB RAM
Setup is 4 windows in laptop 1680x1050 resolution screen (evenly divided and occupied the entire screen) and my main character is in 32" HDTV full screen. No problems in Northrend even in Violet Hold

I'd say three shouldn't be a problem; it might peg your CPU, but should be playable

Is ram better then cpu speed =x ?

you'll run into a CPU speed road block before you hit a ram road block, the more ram the merrier. 6 gigs of ram should be plenty for 5 wows, I have 8, and hardly use all of it, its just nice to be over prepared.

Hmm is 12gigs of ram and a slower cpu better then a holy shit faster cpu and 8gigs ? im talking like a oced 4ghz processor amd 64bit 965 black edition
