is it just me or is this feature not working? i find it rather cool to use that for pve, just pushing a button and knowing my "mate" is doing its best at best possible timing.
edit: nvm its a problem of the german version. english version works.

speaking of delay though - it's a bit hard to find the "right" delay
for instance for a "2 sec" cast spell I end up doing 2.3 or 2.5 delay (/Delay 2 doesn't work) - seems like lag effects it - likewise even after a simple /select of target or player, it seems some small delay (0.3) is needed
I wish the in game examples would actually work or there was a comprehensive reference of working macros somewhere (as opposed to outdated or plain incorrect ones you find all over) - I have working ones on my site but it's a small collection

Hey all. I do know there is a global cooldown that you must also account for when setting /Delay
IE: /Cast smite *Which has a 2 second casting time* your delay would be 2 seconds for the cast plus 1 second for global cooldown plus latency variable ussually .2 to .8
So 2+1+.8 = /Delay 3.8
For me my magic latency number is .6.
When using insta spells / attacks I use the Global cooldown + a slightly higher latency variable like .8
This seems to work well for me when on both main and boxed toon.
Hope this helps you
how do you deal with the infuriating problem of everytime you target a ne wmob you can't attack it, you must wait for the alts to target your main, wait .3 then target its target wait .3 and then pull out the sword wait .3 and then attack.. it adds so much time, I want a [target="main"target] damnit!! lol
or maybe I'm just doing it wrong.
I have a macro that does the following:
/target Mokoi (main)
/follow
/skill target of target (or whatever, servers are down I can't check)
and it takes FOREVER.. and if I start mashing my DPS key before this macro is finished, it interrupts this one and never assists my main.. very annoying.
edit:
can I just make a HUGE macro that i can start and then just continually target new stuff on my main for grinding? that way I can really just target another thing and since my melee team runs towards anything they are attacking they will all just truck along semi-automated? (obviously I would be at the computer, and not automating anything, but you know what I mean.
Is there anyway to make a macro reset to do a cast sequence? I can make a macro of my normal attacks but when I change targets it just continues where I left off.

Depends on your way of deploying commands to initiate macros on each toon. What I do is I have my boxed toons *DPSrs* all with an assist / skill rotation macro on the same key while my tank's rotation is on another. That way I can Grab mobs and lock agro then set my team to kill. It also allows me to pick up new mobs *adds etc* and lock them down without having my team break off and leave a half dead mob beating on them.
You also can explore using marks on targets and setting attack based on mark etc but for me that become more of a hassle.
