im sure its all been said before, but i would make your lock macro on a "hidden" key that u don't use on your rouge, and set up a simple assist button that makes the lock step back at the same time, that way it's easier to get it in your routine

And you. I wasn't even the first one to point out the bullshit in this thread, I just emphasized, yet you go straight for the insults directed at me as always. Get a life dude. I was actually supporting you and your software here, you're making me regret that.

Fur unless there is some bad blood between you and Keyclone I am not aware of I think he was just joking around with you.

Look at the thread... I've read every post and had before I replied yesterday, our long time posters and vet members acted like jackasses. Saddens me that the community is becoming so jaded to new users that they expect everyone to read through dozens of stickies (which most of which are out of date and non-maintained.)

OP: Newb question, doesn't appear he read much.

    Reply: RTFMNOOB!

OP: I did, but I misunderstood the wealth of information.

Reply: Quote of RTFMNOOB! Clarification of RTFMNOOB!

OP: Tried keyclone, Didn't work cuz he didn't register it. Keyclone doesn't state that it wont work without being registered, it just doesn't work. The link on the site doesn't take you to a page about keyclone, it just takes you to an auto-unzipper exe... which doesn't even create a shortcut for you... so you unzip it and have no clue what you need to do next... (Honest feedback rob: Maybe it's time to make an installer?)

    Reply: Mocking OP.

OP: I've figured out macro's to do the hard shit, I just can't get a multiplexor to work.

Velassra: Useful reply with useful feedback on how OP can get more help.

Ogloo: Amazingly useful reply with all the information noobsauce needs to get up and running. (MAD PROPS!)

OP: Most common question when told user has to pay for Keyclone or IS.

Fizzler: Useful advice that there are free alternatives, but no names.

OP: Got trial working, I like Keyclone.

    Bettysue: Good advice on Hotkeynet.

    Fizzler: Humorous feedback.

    Reply: Mocking Newbies financial status.

Bettysue: Defending the hesitance to spend money.

    OP: Happy OP

OP: Thanking one Reply so much for being a jackass.

    Antishadow: Post++

    Reply: Defending jackass.

Otlecs: Pointing out fact that newbie forum is hard to not flame in.

    Bettysue: Commentary on flame status.

Reply: Trying to save face, my flame isn't a flame, it's useful advice, really.

    Reply: Random Comment

Mod: Advice that if you can't read and figure things out you shouldn't multibox... almost says stop flaming, but doesn't.

    Reply: Housing status.

    Reply: Housing status.

    Reply: Multiboxing isn't easy, again.

    Reply: Multiboxing isn't easy, again.

Zanthor: Guys, it's a newb forum and a newb question we don't need to treat newbs like this.

Keyclone: Points out that Sam left and Fur ascended.

    Zappy: Misunderstood OP.

    Veronycht: clarified for Zappy.

    jstanthr: Useful reply.

    Phanes: OT

    Bettysue: Good point.

    Fur: Removing discussion of OT.

    Phanes: Props Fur.

Look. this got pretty out of hand pretty fast.I shouldn't have ignored the report on this thread, I should have locked it then, but I'm locking it now.

Zanthor makes some good points and his thread summary is pretty accurate.
I think Fur has some good points as well, but I think some people automatically dismiss everything he says, because he says it. I honestly think if Fur said the sky was blue, a 4 page QQ would ensue.

So here's the takeaway from this thread.

    To the community:
Don't flame in the newbie forum.
    Be nice to new people.
People you may not like, are not always wrong.
If you have a beef with another member, take that shit to PMs, sort your shit out, we're (mostly) adults around here. We should act like it. If you can't sort it out, ignore each other.

    To new people:
You're not going to figure out everything in 5 minutes. This requires some research and trial error. The reason we can't just hand you a viable solution prepackaged for you for FREE, is because nothing like that exists. Every setup is different.
