    This.

Multiboxing is NOT a cheap hobby. Its not "easy mode". Epics don't rain from the sky (until you get really good). If you have to ask simple questions like this and can't be bothered to look around a little at all the other posts other people have made, well this hobby isn't for you. Especially if your having funding problems.

People around here LOVE to help. They bend over backwards to help people. Some are chomping at the bit just waiting for people to ask questions so they can help. Really, this place is full of good folks.

But then somebody says "$20 is too much - or do I really have to pay for soemthing" - I start getting the nervous twitch and want to bitch slap people. Keep in mind this forum is in part funded by some of that software that you are crying about paying for. this forum that is otherwise provided at no cost to you.
Fur epics rain from the sky for me I routinely blow up 10 to 20 level 200+ items everyday. Of course I took the time to read your DPS macro posts. Watch the videos. Talk with Rob on max setup for keyclone. Invested in a better system. Learned /click from sam deathwalker.

    Did I miss anything?

Bold for emphasis. I'm usually quick to stomp on anyone flaming here in this section. But seriously, if you can't read, talk to people about your ideas, and / or learn things for yourself, multiboxing is not for you.

We're really not a bunch of people who look down on others who ask dumb questions and point and laugh. As it was said before, there are TONS of people just waiting for someone to ask a question to something they can help with. The key here is, this community pretty much requires that you do some reading before even the most basic stuff gets answered for you. And I'm fine with that.

Hoorah!! Way to put it down Fur :-)

I just started boxing a few days back as well, like Fur said it isn't cheap or easy at first. I just learn to read, have patience and also it does help with the amount of years I have played to understand macros. I am still learning, but instead of asking questions try reading, I swear I have read about 20 of the same (or similar) guides to getting set up. Don't go flaming members in here for trying to help.... that will get you nowhere.

I decided to roll 3 hunters and a priest. Still have more stuff to read for heals and /macro's to make for healing toons. But there are hundreds of posts, take the time to read them and not make urself look like an @$$ flaming in forums about why you can't pay for software and get all pissy. If you can't afford keyclone or wow I recommend you stop playing because you need to clarify some real life issues first...

Few ok, just had to get that out >.<

darn u guys beat me to the bite on this one.. was just about to give a speech before fur did (kinda wanted that speech lol)...

    But just to add,
I dont think u understand that we (meaning the creators of this site, not me), created keyclone and many other great softwares. We are not a community in which we took off a program and just talk about ways to move around and do this for free. The only reason there is a payment is it takes hours upon hours to create these programs, which dips into the work time/free time of the people who created it. Also, they are paying for a site with NO ADDS, so they have no source of income to pay for the site or the time they lost due to support, upgrades, and the creation of great products like keyclone.

Im glad u have a interest in multiboxing, but as all multiboxers know we already get enough crap for multiboxing (lawl), and its great that our community holds together!,

peace, o and the comment about the basements. If hes got the multibox 5+ accounts hes probally not sitting in his basement all day, but working his ass off to make the money for whatever he likes to do in his life

All said and done if I was a newb and this was my first post, I'd not bother coming back to the forums...

There is a great wealth of information here, so much so that it's hard to figure out what you need, what works with what, etc. It can be quite overwelming to a newb I would imagine.

When I first visited dual-boxing.com there was a plethora of information about hardware boxing, a few posts about software tools, and Keyclone was posting... at that point we had two options for software boxing, AutoHotKey or Keyclone... and it was STILL a shitload to consume and understand.

Keyclone was $10/cpu, I ponied up knowing I could eat $20 at the time and call it a loss... now it's $20 (and still a steal) with a 24 hour trial (which IMO is pretty damn short to make an educated decision, but the product is definitely worth the $20.)

Did this guy jump in askign the right questions? Nope.

Did we need to treat him like this, for asking newb questions in the newb forum? Nope.

Unless something has changed recently, trial accounts are only good for 20 levels.
