Default Finally pinpointed this rare problem.

For a long time I have on rare occassions noticed this happen, but could never remember what exactly caused it.

When I was fighting a rogue friend yesterday, I caught it. Blinding my main shaman (as far as I know only Blind) is causing the clones to not read his /assist. Its as though he doesn't have a target. They won't /assist fire, or /assist heal anything.

Anyone have a simple fix to this? I have a couple workarounds but want to know if you guys have noticed this.

If your main is incapacitated in some way, and your slaves get their target from an assist or focus sort of macro via the main's target, your slaves will need to drop their target and re-acquire it once you're out of said incapacitation.

I found the same thing when fighting a boss that stuns the tank/group (Ingvar), and you need to drop target on all your dps slaves and re-get it through your normal means to start them casting again.

This will happen on anything like Fear, Blind, Sap, anything like that.

I've seen this happen, but for me I just have to change target on the driver for it to continue working.

I don't think it happens on all stuns, saps etc. Blind is the only time I notice it. I'll try switching targets.

I first encountered this during fears in Steam Vaults, but it usually only happened when tremor broke the fear almost immediately. All the other times, the fear would break after a second or two and there would be no issue.

You can add a /targetlastenemy, prior to your assist method.
So if your main is cc'd, the slaves will at least be able to nuke something while they cannot read the mains target.

There was a thread in the pvp section on this quite a while ago.
