Thread: Jamba-DEV

    Default Jamba-DEV

Recently downloaded Jamba 05 – couple of questions

    • Do I still run Jamba 04 (most recent release)?
    • When using JambaFTL keybindings do I disable the Blizz focus and assist keybindings?

I was having some serious issues with my slaves changing master when I hit my focus/assist key and not following my master when doing the quest turn-in. I still have both Jamba & Jamba-DEV activated in my addon section on all characters.

    Thanks

I might be wrong but I believe that Jamba 0.5 is not a complete release yet.

I run both at the same time I just disabled everything in 4 that has been updated to 5.

The macros created by jambaFTL are just that...macros, you can access them with /click jambaFTLAssist or /click jambaFTLTarget in any other cast aka "normal" macro. They essentially replace the FTL targeting "big button"

Thanks; I will go through tonight and disable the ones in 04 to see if that resolves my issues.

*Yes I know Jamba-DEV is not a full release; many of the changes/additions make it very appealing

Nothing worse then tossing my shield only to discover that my slaves are just sitting back polishing their virtual nails because the focus on master has been reset...no matter how fast I mash the "Big Button"

Ya I found it to be a good idea to do the major setup of jambadev from a clean install of the addon, and then doing a /reload to make sure everything still looks the same, prior to logging out and back in to save all the settings for sure.
It's still being tested in a beta type stage, so I'm willing to do a little extra work and I'm sure the settings update/saving hiccups will be ironed out before it's officially released.
