ONYXIA DOWN!!! ( almost )

Ok well back down to the ground! Me and team Xenoca got her to land for stage 3 but wiped. We had about 6 or so attempts prior to that. We will get her down very soon 8) stage three is easy mode once the tank establishes agro. So its just re-establishing agro with two healers alive and a few dps and shes a done deal 8)

Have any of you 10boxed or multi-muti boxed her yet?

My guild tried it.. couldn't get through phase 2, soooo many whelps (seriously, it feels like 4x the amount there was at lvl 60).

And the elite adds that one shot non tanks... ya. The redesign they did makes it quite a bit more challenging.

we set up near the entrance to her lair. we used 4 shamies+2 palies. I tank her to the right and everyone else is to the left ( in the half moon niches to the left and right just as you enter, before the whelp dens ) At phase two every moves to the left niche. The OT argos all the adds and after a few seconds all the shamies drop magmas and my team head after Ony to dps her under her belly. One group doing adds..one group doing her. We got her to phase 3 this way but died do to the fear and agro problems when she landed.

I know I have to stop DOTS at 42%ish and i forgot that. So when she came down, im sure some flame shocks were on her. We will get her down though. all in all we had a good first day of attempts!

Me and my buddies just did Ony 10 man, wiped first try cause.... not sure why but i got nuked by a blast wave froman add. 2nd try we downed her easy and got the More DoTs achievement. Fight overall wasn't even hard for me but i'm really well geared along with my friends so we joked about people saying this is on par with ToC.

I tried it today just with 5 box(for lulz)
Did 5 or 6 treis, best try i actually got her pretty deep into p2, but without dedicated healer it was tough for my shamans to keep my tank up(3 shamans, oom in p2), she hits really hard too

I think this is possible with a bit more gear and dedicated geared healer, or maybe 6th toon as a healer. Once my shamans went oom it was game over.
Definitely doable as a 10 boxer or 5x2 box.

If you would use a resto shaman, maybe with the mana totem you can go a longer way, and thus clearing it? maybe even a bit more hybrid spec for your shamans?
