/sigh this was such a disapointment I got owned so bad it was not even funny I think I got him to like 65% probably not even that low >< I kept on getting the welps so I guess I was not timing it right at all.

For me, the trick was doing the fight enough to accurately guestimate when the next set of whelps were due and firing off a time-stop right before that. This usually meant opening with a time stop then hitting the 2nd timestop a second or two after the first one faded, rather than doing them back to back.

its been a little while, but I believe that in all of my successful kills I had at least one set of whelps pop out either right before or right after the 2nd planar shift.

I've been avoiding this as I have not had any luck in the past, but since it's the Daily...

I've tried with 5 Amber a few times -- my time estimate sucks.
I tried with 5 Emeralds but that didn't work out so well either.
Gave it a shot with 3 Emeralds and 2 Rubys, no dice either.

I haven't resorted to binding keys as I really don't want to for this 1 single fight. Right now I just manually switch to the toon I want to cast stop time and do it that way. Not much time lost really.

I've been reading forums and watching videos for the past hour and I'm still dying. It's starting to get to me... I can box every other heroric in my sleep, but this guy... sigh.

Any tips / insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I asked my wife to play an Emerald Drake, I played a Ruby and the other 3 went Amber.

Not so hard after all, just STUPID!

Since I had to do Oculus again the following day for my other hunters, I took out 5 Ruby Dragons. Easy Emerald and Amber Void achievements.

I fight low on the platform and drop my priest off her dragon and have her Greater Heal my tank. When orbs spawn (after Asteral shift), I just move away until he phases back in.

I still hate the instance as it's one of the longest (takes at least 45 minutes for me) and it's still STUPID !

Oculus
- Many bosses and creatures have had their total health reduced.
- Several bosses and creatures have had cooldowns on specific abilities increased, effect durations reduced, and damage on some of these abilities reduced.
- Ring-Lord Conjurers and Sorceresses now hang out in packs of 4 instead of packs of 5.
- Vehicle scaling on the drakes based on the rider’s item level has been increased to make them more powerful.

Now they are gonna make this instance even more easier?!?

I just wanted to report that using this method is even easier now. He goes down way fast now.
