for arenas im using lava and shocking on all with stoneclaw on my default leader and thunderstorm on the alts

I don't micromanage stoneclaw but its included in my thunderstorm sequence, just reviewing logs after each match it seems like i'm almost always getting my monies worth from the glyph (several wins where leader would have died without the shield)

P.S. I'm just starting out in arenas again and have low ratings fwiw, ~1300 atm (4x shaman, 1 disc priest healer)
