Need some 5-man multiboxing advice
Hey,
I run a 5-box team consisting of 80 Pala as Tank and a 70 Shaman as Healer. My DPS toons is a 70 Warlock, a 70 Mage, a 70 Druid (Boomkin)
Up till the point where my toons hit 70 I have managed to clear all BC instances, using my pala as a booster and throwing some heals from the shammy when needed. I havent really needed the DPS chars for DPS, but my attempt on normal Utgarde Keep some nights ago made it very clear that I got to get some working DPS rotations on my DPS toons, aswell as macros and other stuff to be able to do Northrend instances.
Ive been reading up on the forums and I have found talent specs and click-macros for all DPS-chars that according to other forum members works fine for them. I still think my dps sucks, since my pala is still dishing out 80% of the damage done. The DPS chars only manage to get to around 400 dps, and they are in decent bc instance blues. Should I expect more DPS from the DPS-toons or is this "normal" for a level 70?
What spec and macros do you recommend with my setup?
When I tried Prince I seemed to lack the DPS needed to down him, and I got into real trouble once the pala got frost tombed =/
I got the healing sorted using Vu´dhu on my pala and shammy, so I can just click on my palas screen for the shammy to heal, and this works fine. I have some thoughts on shifting out the shammy to dps instead, and use the druid as healer since I think managing the eclips procs on the druid is a tad to much micro management..
All thoughts that can help me improve with my 5box-team is more than welcome!

First your paladin is level 80 vs the rest of your team being 70. You paladin should not have any issues landing spells and attacks on the grey/barely green mobs in UK, whereas the rest of your team in BC blues. They are going to have tons of resists and misses compared to your paladin.
Second, Warlocks and druids get a decent chunk of DPS from DoTs. If the mobs aren't lasting long enough for DoTs to run to full, you're not going to see decent DPS compared to a paladin.
Third, paladins get a TON of DPS from AOE. I recall many times where my husband outDPSed real players simply because of consecrate and shield spikes and all that random tanky stuff in high-trash instances.
So yeah, your paladin is seriously going to outDPS your team until your guys are in proper Northrend gear with something along the lines of appropriate Spellpower and Hit and in a fully level-appropraite dungeon.

Just curious, paladin aside, what are these guys doing dps wise against a target dummy?
Do you run a DPS meter that isn't synced between the characters properly? if your synced do you track idle time for the characters?

My pally outgears 3 of my 4 shammies.
The 4th shammy seriously outgears the pally.
But with damage from Holy Shield and Consecrate, the Pally does considerably more damage then any shammy.
Of course with a pally I'm running into a group, hitting consecrate and then my 96969 macro.
The shammies are dropping Magma totems for AoE (Shift A) or normal totems (Backspace), depending on the size of the pull.
