RAF Boosting Guide/Suggestions (H)

Hello all,
I just started multi-boxing not too long ago however, after some trial and error I've been having great success. While reading on these forums and the wiki when I was getting started I came across the term and idea of "boosting" (having a high level character not connected to your RAF accounts to run you through instances to help level). I started out with two characters multiboxing (warlock/shaman) and after leveling them to 15 from questing, I then started running them through just instances with an 80 prot pally and the results have really paid off. I just wanted to make a short suggestion guide for anyone thinking of doing the same. After my toons hit 60 I'll be leveling another set and this is probably the path I'll take this time around...

Levels 1-10: Questing
Levels 10-20: Wailing Caverns (though Shadowfang Keep has nice loot WC is much closer/easier access. Plus there are a ton of quests to be completed which can be viewed here http://thottbot.com/z718)
Levels 20-40: The Scarlet Monestary (for the first few lower 20's levels you might want to try SM Graves which is very easy to farm. After that move straight to Cath as it can be completed in 2-3 pulls then reset).
Levels 40-50: Zul'Farrak (this place also has a ton of quests which can be viewed here http://thottbot.com/z1176)
Levels 50-55: Blackrock Depth (though this one is a little hard to get to, because of the ability to get epic mounts at 40, it makes the run very painless. Though this is a long instance, you can easily expect to pick up a level and then some each run due to sheer mob volume. Levels 55-60: Hellfire Citadel (Ramparts/Blood Furnace) (as you can not go through the dark poratl until 58, you'll have to ask a mage for a port and then run to Hellfire but again with the upgraded mounts it's also not that bad of a journey)
(Please note my toons are Horde so please make suggestions below for Alliance)

(***NOTE*** My characters are Horde so any suggestions for Alliance would be much appreciated)

I hope this helps for anyone who has thought about boosting. I ran a lot of other instances my first time around trying to see what worked the best and the afore mentioned listed seemed to skyrocket both of my toons very quickly to their now level 53 in a little over a days worth of playing time.

Your in the instances a tiny bit late (zf/brd), you could hit them possibly earlier, thought obviously the quests are unlocked.

I've been doing the instance boosting as well, but using my 80 DK with 4 RAF linked accounts (2x2). I'd like to offer the following changes to your instance list.

Levels 1 - 8: Questing. And feel free to "cheat" this a bit as well. Take the time at Lvl 1 to set up your follow and target macros, then UNGROUP your 80 after everything is locked in. Your slaves will continue to follow and target through the 80 even though they are no longer grouped. Remove your 80's attack from the hotkey that makes your slaves attack, then just lead them around and complete quests quickly and easily, only actually attacking with your 80 if things get interesting.

Levels 8 - 12: RFC -- Once you start instances, don't worry about quests.

Levels 12 - 20: SFK -- Personal preference. I can't stand all the trash trying to get to WC. Plus I find it easier to reset SFK by jumping off the upper levels and down to the entrance.

Levels 20 - 40: SM Cath -- Don't bother with the full clear. Kill the 6 mobs in the first hallway, then park your slaves near the last lightpost before the entrance to the courtyard. Take your 80 straight into the Cath, tag Mograine, then run like hell back to the first courtyard, positioning yourself somewhere near the other side of the wall from your slaves (usually helps if you run off the waterfall, makes the mobs run around). AoE down everything (there will be much smaller waves after you kill the first one). Loot while you wait on the healer to come down to you. After she sleeps the group and raises Mograine, his Ret Aura should aggro anything left in the lower courtyard. AoE again. Rinse/repeat.

Levels 40 - 45: BRD -- I would just clear the Road up to the large doors, then clear the first couple of rooms around the big Lock. Note that this method requires that you have the BRD key on your 80. Gets roughly 1 level per partial run of this size.

Levels 45 - 55: BRS -- Clear the entryway, including the rooms under the bridge. Clear the first chamber of UBRS (Yes, you heard me right) for a large amount of XP (and usually decent drops to DE/vendor). Then clear your way through LBRS up to and including the first group of ogres. Stay away from the trolls just below the ogres. Gets just over 1 level per run.

Levels 55 - 60: Ramps -- Getting there should be easy with the new known FP from Shat to Thrallmar, as you should have gotten your team ported to Dal long ago to set hearthstone.

I tried WC early on, ZF during the 40s, and even Strat for the 50s with the first group I boosted. All of them sucked for me, but that may just be personal preference. Using this method I've boosted 24 toons (6 groups of 4) and not looked back once.
