Out of curiosity, why do macro addons have a 1024 limit?

I realize that's 2^10, and there's probably some programming variable that has this as a limit, but is it impossible to get around, or has nobody just done it yet?

I'm getting to that limit with my FTL button that includes multiple characters across each of 10 accounts, but it's not an issue to convert it to clicks.

You can get round any char limitation using /click

Superdupermacro will actually do this for you as long as no individual line is more than 1023 chars
