The onboard controller is a Gigabit controller. Kind of redundant to buy yet another NIC either way, unless the extra performance is a MUST HAVE.
The 9600 series works just fine. YOU DON'T NEED A 280/285/295/275/20 FOR WOW! DON'T INSIST ON IT! A 9600GT lasted me for well over a year before I changed it out for an entirely different purpose.
Have you seen the paper launch for ATI's new graphics card? I'd rather save up for the highest end if I wanted multiple monitors. (If I had to have a one-card solution, either way it seems easier than putting three graphics cards into one computer. It'd also be more power efficient) Event then you could go with two of the lower end cards and still get six monitors.Hmm.
