Thread: 3.2 and dailies

  1. #1

    Default 3.2 and dailies

Ok, I've looked through the boards and a lot of the suggested daily talk boasts about how quick the money is from WG. Of course, those are weekly now. Argent Tournament is changed as well.

What dailies does everyone recommend? Which are grouped together the best and multibox friendly?

I've been doing the 8 dailies in Grizzly Hills, they are quick and all grouped real close. I'm just now starting the Argent Tourney quests and don't know how those are on a daily basis.

The one Kirin Tor quest out in Coldarra is nice but a long haul just for the one quest.

I'm tempted to back BC for dailies since there are so many in one place. Any suggestions?

The damn Argent Tourney dailies were nerfed imo.

At least they aren't nearly as synergistic as they used to be.

I'm looking for a new group of dailies to do for my team as well.
80 Blood Elf Paladin, 80 Blood Elf Priest,80 Troll Mage, 80 Undead Warlock, 80 Tauren Druid, 80 Undead Rogue
    80 x4 Shaman (Orc x3, Troll)

I'm still doing my 3.1 ones. but I'm waiting to get the rest of my team able to do the 2 new Tournament dailies. Here's what I do (I'm Alliance). The grizzly hills quests are only 9g and change, but they're quick and easy. The rest are 13g23s + each. And should leave you with 4 dailies you can afterward.

Awesome list. I'll have to take a day or two to try it all out. Still figuring out how this Argent Tourney works.

I do the list Svper posted except for the PVP dailies. They're quick, but so is Aces High and Defending Wyrmrest Temple, which also yield Wyrmrest faction.

Of course, with two teams, I end up with something like 2500g a day in dailies fairly easily, even if I only do like 20 instead of the max 25.

Nice, I forgot about those 2, I think it's well worth the flight time for the Wyrmsrest rep.

if you can whip up 5 jewelcrafters, the dragon eyes are more than 100G each ( usually 130g on my server just depends). bang for the buck you can't beat doing 5xJC daily. it's the easiest >500g in the game and can usually be done in 15 miniutes. You might want to throw in a druid miner to keep the JC stocked with ore. I usually make a 30 minute mining run in the morning and that seems to be enough to keep all 5x JC stocked for the dailies.

I'm doing the dailies which were posted by Chilkoot on the Medivh Server... sorry, forget the dual-boxing handle used.

Not sure where the thread went, had it bookmarked but it points to the old site.

I edited the guide a tad, to include the X/Y Location to help while learning the route.
Also color coded a bit, but that will not translate with a copy/paste.
Changed a couple of the tips, and added in the "Not A Bug" which I found to be an easy daily and in the middle of the route.
I'm personally only doing the Icecrown (none of the Stormpeaks) portion.
It makes between 1100-1150g a day, in under an hour with epic flyers; the first few runs were closer to 90 mins, with the first run taking forever but getting LOC's added in.

This guide is not mine, but I'm very grateful it was put together.

    Dun Niffelm (198.45g)
    A. Fly to Dun Niffelm (Storm Peaks).

    B. Take and Complete (1) Blowing Hodir's Horn (Friendly), (2) Spy Hunter (Honored), (3) Feeding Arngrim (Revered).

For Spy Hunter, have 3 different members use Canine Fang in quick succession, and mark each of their guardians with a raid icon for visibility. You can quickly complete Feeding Angrim while the guardians search the area.

    C. Take the FP to K3 (Storm Peaks).

    K3 (64.80g)
    D. Take and Complete (4) Overstock.

Don't bother using the provided mines, just tap the mobs and let turrets kill them off.

    E. Take the FP to Dalaran, then have Officer Van Rossem (68,47) send you to Stormbreaker.

    Central Icecrown (264.60)
    F. Take from Drosche (top): (5) Blood of the Chosen.
Take from Absalan (roams): (6) Slaves to Saronite.
Take from Thassarian (side): (7) That's Abominable, (8) Neutralizing the Plague, (9) Drag and Drop, (10) Not a Bug, (11) No Rest for the Wicked.
Take from Boltwrench (below): (12) The Solution Solution, (13) Retest Now.

    G. Fly to Valley of Lost Hope (63,51) and from Skybreaker Squad Leader, initiate (14) Assault by Ground. Finish the escort, get the last few kills for Blood of the Chosen, then enter the mine (57,57) for Slaves to Saronite. Return to the Valley and turn in Assault by Ground.

    Southeastern Icecrown (243.30g)
    H. Fly South East to (64,60). Obtain a Vial of Spinal Fluid for at least 3 members of your party (from the same kill), then complete Neutralizing the Plague.

Switch to Resto spec for Neutralizing the Plague.

    I. Over the edge to ground level, and complete That's Abominable and The Solution Solution.

    The Shadow Vault (198.45g)
    J. Fly East to Crusader's Pinnacle (79,72) and take the FP to The Shadow Vault. Take and Complete (15) Leave Our Mark, (16) Vile Like Fire!, (17) Shoot'em Up. (M3-G6) Go to Jotunheim (33,24).

For Vile Like Fire!, leave your team mounted (flying) and only enter the vehicle with your lead character. You can burn the same building every 3 seconds, so don't bother flying around.

For Leave Our Mark, have all members use the Ebon Blade Banner at the same time for 5x credit from one kill, meaning only 3 kills are necessary. This only works if they use the item simultaneously.

    Onslaught Harbor (132.30g)
    K. Fly South West to Death's Rise (20,48) and Take: (18) From their Corpses, Rise!, (19) No Fly Zone.

Pull several flying mobs in Onslaught harbor to a single turret and AoE them down. The same mobs will work for both quests.

    L. At Death's Rise, turn in quests. Take the FP to Shadow Vault and turn in quests.

    North Central Citadel (243.30g)
    M. Fly South East from the Vault to (55,29) and do Not a Bug. From there, head to (48,32) and do Retest Now. Then fly up the stairs/ramp into the building and complete No Rest for the Wicked. Finally fly south along the ramparts to Drag and Drop.

For Not a Bug, kill the necromancer first, then use Rod of Siphoning (all toons at once) on the voidwalker. 10 seconds after its killed, you can no longer siphon Dark Matter; Summoning Stone is at 54,34.

In Retest Now (48,32), each mob is lootable by everyone, so the minimum required kills is 10, not 50. Completing this quest gets you a 2-hour (Icecrown) buff. Dark (eastern) = +spell power, Green (middle) = Stamina, and Blue (western) = +attack power.

In No Rest for the Wicked, pick up Alumenth's Artifacts (from the chests) on all five characters, have each combine them to they survive log-out. This allows you to ignore the trash on your next four visits. Head to (55,46) for Drag and Drop, initiates drop the orb, use on subjugators.

    N. Hearth to Dalaran; have Officer Van Rossem fly you to the Skybreaker, turn in all remaining quests.

just wondering if anyone else is having problems getting all 5 to get into the plane at the same time. More often than not, it will queue each toon up and there will be a 10-15 second delay before the next toon is allowed to get in a plane, making protecting all the planes difficult and the quest much harder to complete. When they all get in the plane right away, the quest is super easy and completes fast.

Anyone know why the delay or how to avoid it?
