    Angry Arena Match Making Value

    Man...im getting pissed.
    I currently have a team/personal rating of ~770.
Play my first match this week ...team wipes the floor with me....mmv was 800 for me but 1500 for them. BUT, they earn 40 something points for the win, i get zero.
Second match different opponent: I win. MMV was 800 for me 1100 for them. I earn 10 points and they get zero..........ok....wth is going on??

Third game: Same team as 2nd match. They beat me....MMV was ~800 for me ~1100 for them. I get -5 points and they get 40.

WTF IS GOING ON........this is really pissing me off. I played a total of 11 matches, all against teams with a much higher mmv than me. I went 2-9 with a little lower rating than i started out as. I understand I need to win to increase my rating, but how can i loose points if a team with almost twice the mmv than me beats me?

Its all based on the 50/50 rule. Once the MMR rating has determined you to be at a particular MMR rating you are stuck there until you prove you belong at a higher or lower MMR lvl. Either by winning or by losing a majority of matches. When you first start out you are at a 1500 MMR. You queue up and start playing games it will queue you against many different MMR until you get to 50/50. If you continue winning your MMR will go higher, lose and it goes the other way. Since you are down to 700-800ish MMR rating you have to win against higher MMR teams to move your MMR higher. If you just win against similar rated MMR teams then you are where you should be rated. If a team that you are playing has a high MMR and you beat them the system is designed to get them up to their MMR that they have already reached so they lose zero points.

Lets say you start this season(Season 7) with an MMR of 2000. You start playing and you lose, you will lose zero rating and if you win you gain a max of +47. The system is designed to get you up to your MMR as fast a possible. Once you reach your MMR and you start to lose you then lose rating until a new 50win/50lose ratio is achieved. Same thing if you keep winning. It is confusing as hell and I am not even sure I understand it all the way myself. So please feel free to correct anything I have said.

Team/personal rating doesnt matter when match making. Only MMR
