v1.9 strange hotstring/keymap behavior
Hey all,
I recently started playing again and upgraded keyclone from v1.8 to v1.9, now i'm having a strange issue with the keymaps. I only use a keymap/hotstring setup for PVP while for everything else (PVE, farming, AH, etc) I do not so when I startup keyclone I have no default keymaps enabled, I simply manually enable them when I want to PVP and then remove them when I want to move on to something else (different team setups for PVE, etc).
So, the problem i'm having is that after enabling a keymap for a wow instance...if you remove it, it seems to (from what I can tell) randomly renable itself. Example scenario: log in and do some instances, later enable keymaps and enter wintergrasp, leave wintergrasp and disable them...hit instances again and 30 min into the instance my controlls fail, check keyclone and notice the keymaps are reassociated with the wow instances
I was a v1.8 user for a long time and never had this issue so I was wondering if its a possible new bug (searched but didnt have any luck) or if theres some other way i could be enabling/disabling the keymaps while playing?
Thanks

Bump,
Anyone else have this issue? I only use keymaps on some of my teams, where as others I use none. In the current version of Keyclone if you enable keymaps and then remove them later while your still playing they will magically re-add themselves everytime you switch PIP windows. The previous version of Keyclone did not have this issue (1.8 i believe)
My workaround for this problem was to just exit all instances of WoW and restart them again through keyclone everytime I wanted to play different teams, however now that I have converted to bnet this has become a huge hassle as I use an authenticator and the login process is now quite tedius and time consuming

I was never able to get hotstrings to work with Keyclone.
Granted I only really messed around with them for a couple of afternoons.
I know you can do them, but am not sure how.
I know with InnerSpace, Keymaps are essentially the equivalent.
Pick a hotkey to activate, pick an output key and which window or windows it goes to.
So you could quite easily press 1, and have it output five different keys to 5 different characters.
Keymaps are a very powerful part of IS.
I used Keyclone for over a year, and loved it.
As far as key broadcasting goes, its a powerful tool.
I've been using IS for a month or so.
It broadcasts just as easily.
But Keymaps are so powerful and flexible for keyboard use.
And the mouse broadcast blows everything else away (have not tried HKN mouse broadcast, which is purportedly as strong).
Tons of features like repeater regions etc.
I'll highly recommend IS to everyone.
