This didn't fix mine. It kept saying all files are just swell!

Is WoW crashing or just disconnects?

It's disconnecting. I get the "you have been disconnected from the server" message. So then I just log whichever one got disconnected back in. Reset my focus. and keep doing what I am doing.

    Jubber,

Have you added any new hardware at all to your system since this started happening? Maybe try disconnecting some of your USB peripherals before starting your comp. I had a similar issue when I was playing a single toon, and it all came down to my semi-new printer was somehow causing it, and other headaches as well.

Sounds weird, I know, but might be worth a try.

No new hardware or software added to my system recently either. Sorry alcattle, I played 3 hours last night and it didn't happen so I wasn't able to check my latency at time of disconnect. All my clients currently sit between 65ms-79ms currently while farming netherwing ledge. Like I said it, it just started about a week ago and it's been fairly random.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Due to the random nature and how recent this started I wasn't really expecting to find a solution although there have been some great replies and troubleshooting tips. I was really just curious to see if it was happening to anyone else.

Yeah, most of the issues I find that I have with WoW end up mysteriously getting fixed in the next patch. Strange how that works out sometimes.

I think my next step would be to swap out routers/modems if you have any extra. (Sorry if this was already said.)

I have a similar problem, except all of my clients drop at the same time and my pc loses connection with the router. I have to completely reboot to get back online. That solves the issue for about 1 to 3 hours. It seems random but anywhere between 30 minutes to 4 hours i always totally dc. It makes instances a real pain at times. I usually end up rebooting 4+ times a night
I run vista 64 and I swear this problem just started within the last few weeks (hard for me to remember exactly when).
I turned on the port forwarding, turned off vista's ability to sleep the router, and also changed some flag in the command prompt to disable vista being able to cut the connection due to large packet and data transfer. None of it seemed to make any difference. I tried updating the firmware on the router but it's already up to date. It's a 2wire that was given to me by AT&T (our dsl provider). All my other pcs stay online and work fine but this new vista machine just totally disconnects without any explanation.
I've only had it happen while 5 boxing wows (software). I used to run 5 wows on this machine with xp 32 bit and this never happened either.
I tried repair on wow1 and it didn't find anything, i'll try it on wow2,3,4,5 folders later today.

    any suggestions?

hmm... i just stayed online for like 5 hours straight with plain wow no addons. I guess i'll update my addons to the super very latesst and try turning them on one at a time. crazy that a wow addon might possibly be the culprit of disconnecting my pc from the router lol
