I'll prob be going totem of wrath glyph for pve, but im tossing up glyph of thunder or even glyph of elemental mastery for pvp. I'm not sure if 2% crit is all that great, maybe for pvp it is for for pve it sure isn't. Hell, maybe even glyph of stoneclaw totem

Since this is a PvP thread, I'll mention that the 3 arena glyphs you need are: Lava, Shocking, Thunder (thunderstorm is slightly debatable.. I feel its mandatory however). They arent changing with the patch so they will remain the same.

Some new options for the PVE folks tho, so thats good

Non-arena question: Why is glyph of lava always recommended? I'm in crappy gear (1400ish SP unbuffed) and 5x lava burst is like 35k damage. Add 5k for the flame shock and why would you worry about 10% more SP on lava burst? Seems like you'd get more use out of the CL glyph.

Resilience and pre-hots make a decent dent in that 35k expected damage @ 2200sp unbuffed I hit a priest with 5 FS and 5 instant LvB and watched the damn thing run away...now I shoot locks first as long as i don't see a shaman that could have grounding down any second. For warriors and rogues i just spread out with magma down and work on picking off the healers, trying to force them to self heal or save the melee.

I currently have wrath, flame shock, and lava glyphs. This seems to be a decent combo for damage to get through the lower end of the 5's bracket with all the gimmick 7 second setups. I will most likely be switching back to shocking, lava, and thunder after the patch. With a slight change in a couple specs this should be a decent setup. Using 2 or 3 TS at a time to separate melee from the healers and nuke them before they get back for a heal, will be nice especially knowing I can rinse and repeat a bit sooner.

---Sorry Ugh bad quote but i typed too much to erase it all :P
