Default Mac-- Scaling Wow Windows beyond preset Limits

    Hi all,

Started 5-boxing recently and found that having 5 screens that don't really fit on my monitor annoying-- and two monitors makes me ill for some reason. So after spending days looking for the equivalent of a Mac Maximizer I found this and it's working great-- it's very hack and slash but it works for what I want; at least until I learn how to make it into a viable application.

Anyway! here is a guide to setting up 5 instances of wow so that they all fit on your one screen.

    1. Open your main instance of wow
    2. Open CloneKeys/itunes/safari/whatever else you'll want while doing your thing
    3. Open Terminal
    3. Type defaults write NSGlobalDomain AppleDisplayScaleFactor 0.5 and press return
    4. Launch your other instances of wow

and ta-da! You should get something, that once you move all the windows into place, looks like this:

This will scale the applications you open afterwards at 50% their original size-- keeping terminal open until you are finished gaming would be recommended too. You can change the scale factor to any size-- say 75% of their original size-- by changing the value from 0.5 to 0.75

Once you're done with your gaming and want to change everything back so that things will open to their normal size go into terminal and type
    defaults write NSGlobalDomain AppleDisplayScaleFactor 1.0
