2 boxing end game - Class Comp
Don't worry, I've searched and read a bunch of stuff before posting my question. I also RAF'd 5 accounts on one laptop, so I'm not new to the scene.
I'm trying to figure out my best comp for 2 boxing (and ONLY 2, not 3, 4, etc.).
I'm planning to 2-box some end game with very well geared toons. I have the following level 80, end game geared characters:
1. Warrior (very geared prot, decent geared DPS).
2. Paladin (very geared holy, decent geared tank and DPS).
3. Druid (very geared resto, decent geared DPS, sub-geared tank).
4. Warlock (very geared DPS).
I also have a few other toons that are gradually making their way to 80.
I'll need to move one of these toons onto my other account (which will cost $ for the transfer) and I'm trying to figure out what setup is best.
I love tanking on my warrior, and I usually pull 2.2k dps *tanking* heroics (exp and hit capped makes a huge difference). What I would like to do is move my druid or pally over to the second account and have one of them heal him. Then I can also mess around on my warlock + heals.
So here are my options:
1. Prot Warrior + Holy Pally. My pally is an amazing healer. Uses next to no mana and can take a few hits when he has to. I would spec him for the improved bubble (long and amazing sacred shield), maybe even take him deep prot with some holy for the stam > spell power increase, and just spam 8k FoLs all day on my warrior. My one and only concern with this comp is controller the pallies movement because 90% of the time he'll need to stand still to heal (occasional holy shock while moving into position would be fine though). Judgement of light woudl also be great. Standing still there's no way either of us would come close to dying... But I'd have to manage his position somewhat, or at least stop following, before every pull which sounds like a pain.
2. Prot Warrior + Resto Druid. My druid won't single target heal me quite as well as my pally when standing still, but the ability to heal on the move sounds like a real win. Lifebloom stacks would do the trick most of the time. Also he'd be able to party heal others a bit better than my pally. The only problem with my druid is there's a lot more micromanagement / casting involved, and he's way squishier than my pally (especially if i took the pally into a prot build with holy pvp gear). I wouldn't have to worry much about his positioning. I could probably leave him on follow at all times.
I'd like to keep one healer on each account since both can also tank. That way I could switch it up a bit (bear + healadin or prot pally + tree).
Thoughts? Anyone run these comps at end game? Geared?
