    Default Newbie wanting help.

    Hey community,

Ive got 4 accounts with level 80 shammys on, 3 of them are myne, one was given to me by a friend.

Although ive leveled these to 80, ive never multiboxed on them, neither have I ever tried PVP.

They are all on the same realm, and I have a few questions to ask about them for PVP.

    1. What talent spec should they be? Link if possible.

    2. What software would be best?

    3. How should i PVP on them? Spell rotations etc.

    4. What gear should i use for PVP?

    Thanks guys

No. Read the rules, account sharing is not allowed in WoW and as such is against the rules here. Buy your own account.

The rest of it you can also find by reading any of the clearly marked stickies and forums.

Yep. The account that's not yours will likely end up getting banned, along with 1 or all of your own accounts. The sad thing is that you can't even transfer the 80 off his account to yours as transfers require the same owner. I'd have sympathy, but this question has been asked and answered years ago.

The software I use is ISBoxer. A long learning curve It's easy to learn hard to master, just like the Civilization series.
    download it here

video example of what to expect it to look like. also great "Flying V" Formation shared in this video. I've experimented with alot of formations. The Flying V has only two steps. It requires no complicated or excessive movement. Just one short tap, and one longer tap. Best of all it looks great.

Bare in mind this account was given to me when it was level 24. I hand leveled it to 80 without a ban.

Whether or not you got away with it so far is irrelevant. It's against the terms of service and is a bannable offense.

Multiboxing is a great big flag. Some people don't like it, think it is botting and the chances are you will get reported to a GM at some point. They'll take a look at the accounts of your team., notice one of them isn't owned by you, and you will lose (probably all) accounts.

    Is the risk worth it?

Drop that 4th account,. Buy another, get RAF on it and quick level up your own legitimate shaman (perhaps even 2). I believe the only thing better than 4 shaman in a battleground is 5
Team: Feral Druid, 3 Ele Shaman, 1 Resto Shaman

    Gimp Team: 4 paladins(13) and a DK(80)
    Kierlay,kierlee,kieree,kierla and Karatesh

Okay, so far, based on what people have said, I should drop the account. This is a slight disappointment for myself, but hey, its better then losing them all as you rightly said.

I do have another account with a level 74 shaman, that is my account. I guess I can get that to 80 within a week.

But before I head off to Northrend, it would be great if the rest of my questions could be answered.

    Thankyou for the replies.

like they said before multiboxing draws a lot more negative attention than solo leveling. its really up to you but you can level all 4 again after the ban or one more before it.

as for your other questions... software is personal preference check out the wiki and decide for yourself.

i believe you play them and gear them pretty much as you would a normal solo toon. heres a link to a fairly successful elemental shammy in 5's. i dont know if its exactly what you would want but its a good starting point.

and lastly i cant imagine there would be very many spell rotations in pvp. aside from some burst combos it seems more like you just have to practice and get used to what spells you need to use in certain situations. i would suggest lurking some pvp sites and forums as well as this sites pvp forum. the pvp section of the wiki here seems to be lacking in content but you should be able to find some good info in the forums. you just have to do some research.

PVPing on the shaman I would recommend getting a core set of totems to drop initially.
(if you can reliably get all your shaman in the same group then you can drop a load of different totems that will help all of them).

More often than not i'm finding I'm not in the same group, so I drop a lot of the same totems on each one.

Rotation wise you are mainly going to be throwing lightning bolts. Using chain lightning to hit a warlock/hunter pet and jump to the warlock/hunter, or when there are loads of enemy all together. Flame shock, lavaburst for some guaranteed single target nukage (have a button to trigger elemental mastery for instant cast lavaburst).

You'll tend to be a lot less mobile when multiboxing.... although I'm working on being able to move as a group more.
Very important when being AOE'd. I'm putting talents so earthbind stops snare effects so I can ghost wolf and get my team out of the massive aoe that focuses on you when you have a group that know what they are doing.

I'm still learning though, but it is great fun.

Oh one final tip - get a spread out macro - Great against melee that like to weave in and out of your guys or bladestorm you down.
