When I go to do a transfer it shows a log of other transfers so you could see if it was transferred anywhere.

I do know that a guildie of mine got a character reinstated a long time after deleting it, so it may be worth a shot.
Thanks, I'll check this out when this function is available. Seems to always go down when servers are under maintenance.
