Default Auto-Follow issues: I want my 20,000 Gold back!!!!

So I decided to finally hammer out every Daily Quest I could for a couple of weeks and get Epic flying for my 4 Shamen. They already had the mounts (Bronze Drakes), and my Paladin already had the skill, so I figured why not!

Well, its been nothing but a complete waste of money because now I cant fly for more than 30 seconds without someone falling behind and auto-follow breaking. So its taking me just as long to get around, if not more, than when I had normal flying.

Now this is everywhere, not just the phase-happy Icecrown, which I've memorized all the phasing areas at this point and see them coming.

So is this just a system performance issue? I'm running 8GB of RAM, but I guess maybe I need more.

I run a quad core 2.6, 8gigs of ram, 7600gs 512mb video card, even with my crappy video card I rarely lose follow. So I would think it isn't a ram problem. unless your video settings are really high.

    Turn off crusader aura.
Would that really make a difference? I mean, all the clones should be getting it too. And its always random who drops off, and its normally only 1 or 2 at a time.

unless your video settings are really high.
The 4 clones have everything set to the absolute minimum possible, all sound disabled, etc. On my main window I do have the graphics turned up a bit more though.

You can use crusader aura but it is advisable to not drive with your pally - I tend not to bother with it though

Ok, so Crusader Aura goes! I'll report back once I get some testing done!

Yes, its for sure the crusaders aura causing this. I rarely use it myself, because its just not worth the extra boost when u finally are at the questing place, and ur slave is still right outside dalaran -_-

As much as I hate to admit it, it appears you were all right! Dropping the Aura seems to have alleviated most of the problems. Thanks all!!!

Thanks for sharing, I am about to go buy flying mounts (not epic yet) for my team so its good to know not even to worry about crusaders.

You can use the aura just don't lead with the paladin.
