    Default Octopus failes to connect

    Have used octopus for the last year with no problems (1.3.5f) however when i started the system this morning the clients wont connect - i have changed nothign and all the systems still have network/internet access - windows may have updated but I dont think so on all the systems. This is SO freakin anoying, i have changed NOTHING since it was last used yesterday morning and worked then fine - ffs!

    Default fixed after just under 1 hour of pointless messing about

    Turned out to be that the systems had got different IP adrerssed from the DNS server but vista had not caught up - so i was trying to connect to the computers by name rather than with the full IP and this used to work but not anymore. Putting the IP address instead of the name in the Octopus connect dialog fixed it... now to set the systems to static IP and forget about it!
