Can we limit mouse broadcasting?

Howdy,

I am still working on my ISboxer setup. I think I finally got the keyboard portion where I want it, and now I am having an issue with the mouse broadcasting. I am hoping that there is a solution here...

Basically, if mouse repeating is enabled, everything I do seems to go through (which you'd expect). Id like to limit the broadcasting to the side button (mouse button 4, which I have bound to T) and left clicks in some regions that Im defining on the screen using the is interface.

So if you want to picture it in your mind, I want to pass clicks to the Bottom left and bottom right hot bars in the default wow UI.

Thats it.

If there is any way to limit mouse repeater I would appreciate you guys sharing it, Im not seeing it,

It's probably not much help, but you can do this with HotKeyNet if for some reason ISboxer does not have a solution.

I'm just setting this up now - you can define repeater regions (regions that will broadcast mouse movement and clicks when you mouse-over the region, including alt-shift and ctrl keys to all other windows) by bringing up the in-game console. I'm using this to broadcast all clicks to some of buttons on my 2nd default toolbar for my shamans.

It does sound like what you want in general isn't necessarily Mouse Repeat.

1. Repeater Regions over your action bars, like gitcho is suggesting, sounds appropriate.
2. As far as mouse4->T, you can do this with a Mapped Key in ISBoxer. Set the Hotkey to Mouse 4, and add a Keystroke Action that sends T to your desired target (one or more windows).

Between these two things it sounds like what you're asking for so far is covered

Ah. I have mouse repeater enabled AND i setup those regions in game... I guess I was overkilling it hahah. I thought you needed both enabled. I will try your suggestions,

Ok I have the repeater thing going... is there some reason I have to load the mouse click regions each time I start the game on each char? Can I make it automatic?

Set up all of your regions, then click the Save As button. Leave the text box set to "Auto". If you make it something else and save it, you would need to specifically use the Load feature -- or set up a Hotkey with a Repeater Regions action to load it.
