Quick Question..Affinity and 2.Core 90%

Hi,

setup now Isboxer and set the affinity to all cores ...5 x Clients on one PC ..share the 8 Cores on my i920..But yan you explain,what is going wrong with the second Core?






Is it broken or something?..alwys on 90% while the others 7 are "dreaming"

I closed Wow then,and then all Cores fall to 1% at the End.

Interesting. remove the second core from all the clients and see what it shows

After Hours of testing..there is no way.

Whatever i change..one core is always @ 90 % ..the others around 10-15%..i think it a WoW Problem..they dont support many Cores.

Maybe you need to abandon using other apps to set affinity in WoW and just set it inside ot WoW.

You may also want to consider running WoW on only the physical cores of an i7.

You have a quad-core Intel i7 with Hyperthreading enabled, and only want WoW to run on the Physical cores... 1 + 4 + 16 + 64

The green bar is at the top on the 2nd core - it should be at the bottom. Always happy to help
