How do you de-bind the abilities that are given to you? I had this problem in ToC, I couldnt cast a macro action because my ability bar (the horse ones) would default to casting first.

No unbinding necessary - I use hotkeynet, so I can assign one key (Q for instance) to send another key (Shift F12). But if you decide to got he bind/unbind route, I can recommend this thread:

Edit: I think I just got what you meant. Just place your macros on another actionbar and make shortcuts for those or use an add-on such as bind-pad.
