And just to give some hope, when I got it, I actually had 1 wipe. Luckily, we landed in a convenient spot and I had all 4 resurrections available on the shamen, quick rezzed the Paladin and got right back on the drakes and did it!

Had another 2 tries on Make it count, but can't seem to get lucky enough on my first try on Eregos...

I start dps, time stop and keep the rotation up..problem is when i've done the 3rd time stop, i can't do a 4th because of DR, and i still need to go 10-20% more before he goes immune..and in that time whelps spawn..

I've been trying going with 2 ruby/3 emerald lately, for Xp-drake rider, but i can't get that shit done...Did 5x amber today trying for 20 min achi, but failed...alltho i got 2 tries, since i end up at eregos at 12-13 min after drako's death.

After several tries i got it, and got XP-drake rider on my main (had the 20min achi on him from earlier) and got red proto on main atleast.

Seems i need more tries on getting 20 min achi on slaves tho..

Well congrats on getting one! It really just takes practice. If you can get to Eregos within about 13 minutes, thats a good 2 attempts (keep your Resurrections available!) if you're using the 5x Ambers. The key is, get him to do the first Phase shift before summoning the drakes. If you can do that, you're golden!

The time i got him down today, i waited about 2 second between each time lapse, but he didnt spawn drakes...those 2 second are really awsome if he doesnt summon whelps..because the 2nd and 3nd time lapse arent that long.

I'm having issues with share the love at the moment. I have a mixed team and use the earth elemental to tank, but he's killed so fast there's pretty much no chance of my tank getting impaled while it happens. Can the elementa be spamhealed?

Anyway, I might have to secondary-spec my druid as tank, which means buying a whole set of tanking gear (that's what I get for DE'ing all my purples for gold), does anyone have experience doing that?

Good to see you back Fuzzy. I was away for quite a while, but remember you back when I had 5 level 70 Shamans doing Shadow Labs!

Anyway, I did what you mentioned above. I made my druid dual spec. Then I just ran ToC over and over on regular to get him some tanking gear. Then I did it a few times on heroic to get the weap and a few other pieces.

When you go for the impale put everyone in the ring as you come up the stairs with their back against the wall so when he does his charge they stay put. Then take your healer, main tank and druid to the boss. Play the druid and get your mt impaled. Once that happens just drop the druid and play your main tank. You can ignore the druid at this point or have him do some melee. Just remember you need the boss to live until everyone gets impaled.

You'll get it easy once you start trying it. The gear isn't tough to get for your druid with the new 5 man. Just run it on normal a few times to get him some decent tanking gear. You could make a few pieces too.

I thought it was going to be a pain to gear the druid tank, but it went pretty quick. I then was able to use him on other achievements where a second tank helps. It made life a lot easier and getting the red proto go that much faster.

Let me know if you need anything else and good luck.

Just got it done with AH-tanking gear. Was a pain though. Fourth try, and the fight took almost 10 minutes. I actually meleed him from 300k to 30k and I was afraid I was going to kill him off with white damage before the last one got impaled, but finally got it. Thanks for the advice :-)

Now it doesnt go into much detail as far as macros and whatnot, so here is what I have to add to that video:

-First, I'm a button-masher. And I had to unlearn my button-mashing ways in order to get this right.
-I use a Nostromo n52 gamepad and have it programmed with 2 settings: 1 for normal use, and another strictly for Eregos. I switch it to the Eregos mode right before I engage. Do whatever you like, but thats why I have my keys setup the way I do.
-These are my macros that I have set up on each character:

    Lance:
    Rift:
    Time:
    DismountVehicle:
-Stop Time is set to a different key for each character in order to do rotations. You cannot do more than 3 Stop Times before his phase shifts, so time them right, and make them count!

-This is how I have the macros set up on each character (you can do however you want, this is just my layout):

    Party1: Ctrl+1: Stop Time // 1: Lance // 2:Rift
    Party2: Ctrl+2: Stop Time // 1: Lance // 2:Rift
    Party3: Ctrl+3: Stop Time // 1: Rift // 2:Lance
    Party4: Ctrl+4: Stop Time // 1: Rift // 2:Lance
    Party5: Ctrl+5: Stop Time // 1: Rift // 2:Lance

-As soon as I am ready to engage, I get in range and hit the first Stop Time.
-Then, I hit '1', pause for just a second and hit '2', and go back and forth, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 etc. Only let a second or two pass in between. If your timing is right, you'll be pulling great DPS.
-All the while, keep your Stop Time rotation going. As soon as the first one wears off, I hit the next one. If you keep him frozen for 3 Stop Times and keep up your DPS rotation, he should do his Phase Shift without summoning any drakes (if he does that, its almost a guaranteed wipe). And once the phase shift is over, you can hit him with 3 more Stop Times. You'll always have 2 phase shifts, but if done right, he'll die right after the 2nd.

    Questions?
This worked excellent for me, although I found a 3-4 second pause to work better for some reason. Just got my oculus achievement tonight (not make it count though, but now that I have the eregos-technique down it's hopefully only a matter of time - so to speak, hehe).

Also, I simplified it down to two keys - one with a toggle/round-robin which had the following macro:

    /stopcasting
    /cast time stop

And another toggle/roundrobin where char1 and 2 would cast rift, char3, 4 and 5 would lance and then the other way around. That way I only had to press two buttons, so I could concentrate on getting the time stop casts just right.
