Ok, thats gonna be an issue. The time I did it with 5x Ambers, it took me about 10 wipes to finally kill him. I was gonna do the 2x Ruby and 3x Emerald. Would that still work?

The 2X Ruby 3X Emerald is the safest by far, but it takes a good 4-5 minutes to down him this way. If you can get the first part done in 15 minutes do it the way you mentioned. It's much easier than the 5 X Ambers for sure. It just takes about twice as long to get him this way.

Do what works for you. Don't even think about completing it. Just go for it, relax, do it as quickly as you can and see if you can make it. If not, there is always the next day.

Just try to get as much time as you can to fight him. Cut corners, jump off the drakes and start firing, etc. Get as much time as you can. Nothing is worse than doing it, but going over the time limit by a few seconds.

Heh, thanks for the words of encouragement.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong on the 5x Ambers. Basically I split into two groups, one that does Temporal Rift and the other does Shock Lance, and they alternate ever 2 seconds or so. And all the while doing a Stop Time rotation. Thats how its done right? Its supposed to be really high DPS, but I still couldnt kill him until after the 2nd Phase Shift

Yep, tried again today to do the 5x Ambers and I can get him close, but I tend to wipe many times before I can finally bring him down, which wont help me on the 'Make it Count' achievement. Is there a good guide for this anywhere? I watched The Moos video, but it doesnt give very detailed information.

Not sure if there is a guide. I tried the 3X temp rift 2X shock lance and switching back and forth with Amber Drakes, but for me that approach was sketchy and unreliable. I altered it some so there are always 4 rifts on him with one person shock lancing, then the next ,etc. while always keeping 4 rifts on him.

No matter how fast you kill him he will phase shift two times. The goal is to get 10X charges for the character that is about to use Shock Lance. If you can do that he will go down fast and will shift in the middle of his third Stop Time. Then fly away and rise and repeat. There won't be any whelps this way.

I don't have a guide written up, but if I get some time I'll try to put something up with macros and pics so you can see how I do it.

That would be amazing, actually!!!!! I was able to do it once with 5x Ambers, but like I said, it took about 10 wipes and I have not been able to duplicate that success since!

Also, I STILL cannot get Less-Rabi, even after bringing a Mage friend. I even had her respec to the Improved Counterspell just for this fight, and she says that she keeps getting the message that he is immune to the silence portion of the spell. Everyone says its easy with a Mage, but I still have yet to get it even once.

Got help from a tank friend and finished Share the Love. So now I'm down to 3:

-Dehydration
-Less-Rabi
-Make it Count

I'm actually having problems with Dehydration. Its not as simple as hitting the crystals because of that damn knockback. Even pulling him to the door has not been successful for me.

Less-Rabi still sucks, just waiting to get lucky I guess

Still worried about the last fight for Make it Count. I just cant get him in the first try.

Not sure if anyone is even still reading this thread, but I have now mastered the 5x Amber drake kill. I was making a HUGE mistake with my hotkeys (I was button-mashing which is not good for Temporal Rift). So I should be able to get 'Make it Count' tomorrow.

Still having problems with Dehydration. I just cant get it!!!!!

I can't seem to get Split Personality, even with the advice of DPSing one at a time. I've gotten close using an AE approach, but I don't understand how people 5-box this without a tremendous amount of luck, or a specific class mix. When I use the single target dps approach, I am able to Hex all 3, but it wears off before I can manage to DPS each low enough. When they are all casting, it is all I can do to heal my group. I can't DPS at the same time.

All I have left is Split Personality and Make it Count. I think I can get Make it Count, but only 1 try a day makes it hard.

If I can get more detailed help on Split Personality, I would really appreciate it.

I did it today on my ret paladins by accident. I would suggest you dont even bother hexing. Beat one to about half, switch to next. From all the AE flying around when you get the third to half the other two should be low, continue dpsing until they are all dead. I think this achieve would go well with Fire elementals and thunderstorms (too finish them off.)
